I bought the Queen size. Great idea but just too heavy at 9kg. Would enjoy a less heavy 5 - 6kg weight to achieve the snuggle effect without pushing your body into the super comfortable mattress topper so much so, that you can't feel the topper's softness.My wife has a minor sciatic nerve problem in the small of her back and it's just too heavy for her. The squashing effect the blanket has on her, aggravates the slight pinching discomfort during the night and keeps waking her up. Then I hear about it so the blanket is now stored in the closet. Shame, as I say, the idea was great, but just too heavy. MEL DAVIS.

I love this blanket so much. As someone with sensory issues that gets overwhelmed a lot, having a lot of weight and deep pressure applied to my body is really calming and good for me. This blanket does an excellent job at applying that pressure all across my body and helping me calm down. I definitely recommend it to anyone else who has sensory issues and likes deep pressure to calm down.

The photo clearly shows it goes over the sides of a queen size bed. It doesn’t. It is for a single bed and no where on the Chinese packaging or in item description gives any measurements except that it says “queen” and the picture shows it clearly hanging over the sides of a queen bed. I have to return this physically to a shop now which is awkward as I have a disability and it is 9kg. It would have been wonderful if the sizing was correct.
I shopped around for a weighted blanket for my daughter (11 years old) for a long time. This blanket was a good price and I liked the fabric used so I took a chance on it (online). Parcel arrived super fast and it is perfect! It feels amazing and is really big compared to other weighted blankets, whilst still being small enough to wrap around you. I tried it myself for a couple of nights and I will definitely be getting myself one. My daughter falls asleep so quickly with this blanket - it is a godsend! My entire family has asked for one for Christmas! I strongly recommend this blanket. I will be returning for more.
I have difficulty sleeping at times when experiencing anxiety. I had read about the benefits of weighted blankets in promoting sleep. I have been a customer of Myer since moving to Wagga Wagga in 1985 so I looked to Myer to purchase my first weighted blanket and it has been the best purchase. My sleeping habits have improved and I am having a deeper sleep each night. The cotton weighted blanket is amazing to help you have a longer, deeper sleep.
Shame they do do the Super King, switch we needed. This was bought as the tester but for two people in a Queen bed, there is still the blanket thief at work. We ended up getting a Super King of another brand, which was only 1kg heavier, so the weighted spread wasn't as good as this one. For one person in a queen bed, this is excellent. It has now a spare for the guest bed but isn't made up on the bed as Mr has been using when watching evening sport from the lounge.
This weighted blanket is comfortable for my husband while he sleeps. This blanket has stopped him from shaking himself while he sleeps and waking himself up. It is a support for him as he has a disability which effect him while he is asleep. This has made his life better and he is more happy that he can sleep better during the night.
If you're looking to experience a weighted blanket for the first time, this is it. The weight is just perfect, not too light and not too heavy. It is especially welcome with the colder weather. The grey goes well with my Manchester, others may find it lacks colour.
I found the 7kg blanket a nice weight for me, being under 60kg. It is heavy, the feel of the blanket is nice and comfortable. Fits around you like a glove. I have found the blanket to be effective in helping me sleep better and to stay asleep. I also wake up with less aches and pains. Definitely recommend.
