I bought this off of amazon to transition into a way of shaving with no plastic waste. I’m only giving it 4 stars because the blades that come with the razor aren’t that sharp, and other brands could be better. Shaving with it is obviously something that requires a learning curve, but has become very easy for me now that I’ve been using it (check youtube for great tutorials!). It’s a great buy, and I absolutely recommend it along with a pack of razors other than the 5 packaged with this.

I had to get rid of my covid beard a few weeks ago...the wife muttered something about Sasquatch...not in that good way... So now I shave every 1 to 3 days. I tried the multi Wonder blades...they clog and they're expensive. A bit of research led me to this Weishi Nostalgic ADJUSTABLE Safety Razor. I'm glad I bought it. The Butterfly opens smoothly, the razor has a quality feel and a nice heft...and it looks pretty cool...this is Not your Grand Fathers Safety Razor. And the Real Magic...It Adjusts so easily...My 1 day beards get a #2 setting on the dial...3 day beard takes about a #4, maybe 4 1/2 on the dial...and you can just dial the edge back a little for that tender area under your nose, or maybe your neck... then back to business for tougher parts of your ... this razor is nice, the handle is a little longer than most safety razors, which means it has an issue fitting on a lot of razor holders. Great razor at a good price.
Sleek, substantial and sexy too. If you've got large hands then you need this extended handle shaving machine. Lends you all the confidence one may want when using a double edge. Glides effortless across the uneven contours of my long, narrow face. It's well tooled with no loose fittings. A dozen shaves through various stages of my beard growth and it hasn't nicked me yet! The gunmetal finish is handsome as well. The only additional feature I'd like to see on this would be the ability to adjust the blade exposure. However you can address this by purchasing the various aftermarket blades out there until you find your perfect match.
My first safety razor and it is great! The quality of shave really depends on the blades used in it (I like Astra superior platinum or Feather) but the mechanism works great and it feels good in the hand. It is plenty heavy for my purposes. The blades that mine came with (title was in oriental characters) are utter crap so don't bother using them but that's not what your paying for anyway.
First shave cut the side of my face open..haven't used it since and will not ever again. After nine days the cut has finally closed and healed..we are not taking a scratch here.
Bought for my husband. Great razor. Much cheaper for blades. He really likes it.
