I love this body oil with lavender. I use it as a massage oil in the evening before showering with Weleda's lavender body wash and I quickly fall asleep afterward. A light oil-based on sweet almond and sesame oil and, of course, lavender oil. It feels relatively dry on the skin and immediately goes in and softens. Weleda's tests show that it provides 29% increased moisture in the skin after being used for 28 days. This I treat myself to after a yoga session, or in the evening when I need some rest. It is so luxurious both on the skin but also for the mind. The scent of real lavender is hard to beat, and this one is really perfect! On my second bottle of oil now, if I could give a higher rating I would.

It definitely smells like lavender. A natural fresh grown lavender not a fake cheesy lavender smell. It’s a great consistency for oil. My issue with body oils is often that they leave a sticky feel after applying, this brand does not do that. It’s a conditioned slightly oily feel until your body absorbs it then it’s just soft and glow. I used to use this at night before bed and for back rubs for my kids. Even just writing this review makes me miss those days. This brand is great for body oils that smell great and have a purpose.

A LOVELY LAVENDER BODY OIL

I've just received this oil and started using it straight away. The smell is very nice and not overpowering. It sinks in really quickly and leaves skin lovely and soft. Also, it is organic and 100% natural. I will be using it nightly as a moisturiser and a relaxing smell to go to sleep with. Fully recommend.

Lavender Oil

Purchased on the £10 Tuesday and it's really nice! Soaks into the skin quickly and doesn't leave it feeling sticky or slick. The smell is strong when you first put it on but then it goes away, personally I like that, as I feel if it was that strong all the time, I'd get a headache.

Lavender oil but without lavender scent

This body oil was quite disappointing. Not to sound ungrateful but it has a very minimal, slight lavender scent that can only be smelled on your skin for about two minutes and that’s it. It just evaporates afterwards. It’s a great moisturising oil for the body which is great but Weleda’s choice of titling it a Lavender oil when it’s only a diluted Lavender one… frankly misleading. If you take a look at the ingredients you’ll notice that the first one is not Lavender but a food oil… you get it. Would not buy again.

Leaves skin really soft

Love this body oil, leaves skin really soft. Absorbs really well as some oils can leave your skin feeling greasy . The scent is relaxing i use before bed . Would recommend really good skin care product .

Love this !!! Such a lovely lavender scent, not artificial smelling like some can be. Really relaxing and soothing to the skin, bought to use on my bump while pregnant too to help me settle for bed!! I have quite sensitive skin too but had no reactions which was amazing ♥️ Think I got it on £10 Tuesdays too so great price as well x Highky recommended!!!

Ok, just not great!

I bought this with high hopes as I love lavender especially at bedtime. The oil itself is good and seems quite moisturising, BUT there is no fragrance. In fact once in bed it rather smelt like I was wearing cooking oil! Fortunately I always have some lavender essential oil in so ended up adding a few drops to the oil; problem solved, however it does kind of defeat the object!
