This night cream has made a difference in my skin since using it for the past few weeks now. I’ve noticed that my face and neck are nicely hydrated after using it, and my skin has a smoother appearance and a nice glow to it as well. I have found that a little bit of product goes a long way, so be careful not to use too much when applying it for the first time. It also has a slight lavender scent to it that doesn’t linger for very long, but if you prefer scent-free creams, then this may not be for you. I love that the packaging is very informative and tells you that the product is vegan-friendly, has not been tested on animals, and is free from parabens and phthalates. Overall, this is a great night cream that nourishes the skin and I would recommend it to anyone.

This moisturizer is quite rich and thick yet spreads easily, absorbs well, and doesn't feel greasy or sticky. I like to apply it on a slightly damp face after cleansing to maximize moisturize retention, and also a little goes a long way when applied on damp skin. I've been happy with this night cream. It improved my skin, and I found the texture of the cream just right. It feels light on the skin and reduced redness considerably, and the long-lasting moisture it provides is fantastic. However, it leaves a slightly sticky residue and initially caused a few breakouts, but my skin adjusted after a few uses. It takes a bit to absorb, and the smell is a bit strong for my liking. Despite these, the benefits outweigh the minor inconveniences!
After trying hundreds of serums and other anti-redness remedies, it all came down toproperly nourishing my skin, and the redness seemed to be visibly reduced. I was morethan happy to notice that my skin was less prone to suffering and reacting to harshweather conditions (and I do a lot of outdoor activities during the day). It remained calmand reasonably evenly toned, even when I had my period (which is unlikely for my skinnot to flare up then).
I never thought I’d say that but yes, the problem of my lacklustre and dry skin seemed to be almost fully resolved. I’m happy how my skin looks and also how it feels. I definitelynoticed significant decrease in flakiness, red or irritated patches (e.g. from my coat’s collar touching my face when it’s cold). This product achieved more than probably three or four expensive serums and oils that I bought over the last months. Thank you! This product is a proof that we are never too old or too clever to learn something new, and although I consider myself to be a fairly advanced skincare user, I just learnt thatuncompromising, solid nourishment and hydration are the key to my skin health.
The lacklustre tone decreased significantly. My cheeks started to look healthier. I alsonoticed improved skin density and plumpness – like the skin almost bounced up and therefore looked fuller. All my small dry, flakey patches were almost completely gone.This was the first time in a very long time where I felt no urge to scratch, touch or in anyform interfere with my skin after my night routine. I think this is a super cream that is helpful to dry skin. Probably its strong scent could not be tolerated by some people, but I do tolerate it. This cream is one of the more hydrating creams I have tried. I believe this product may not be for too sensitive skin or anyone that has oily or normal skin. It will be too much.This cream provides intense moisturizing, but it is not too heavy, and I noticed that it blends easily into the skin. Nevertheless, it does help with dry skin and is ideal for travel. It is also full of natural ingredients which I appreciate. I would recommend this cream for people with dry skin.
The jar looks simple, aesthetically pleasing and I like the boldness of the green colour.The name “Skin Food” is great! I could not think of anything better, because literally thathow I feel this product works. I’m also pretty happy with the ingredients. More than happywith the fact that Weleda is cruelty-free, and this product is vegan. I’d be happy topurchase it again – I also think the price is set up fairly and you get a lot for your money.
