My mom has been regularly using this product so I decided to try it. OMG I am in love. It smells amazing and protects my hair so well. I also love that it feels like it’s actually cleaning my hair and not just leaving annoying residue.

I immediately felt a difference in my hair when applying this in the shower. My hair is brightfully colored, and has been becoming more curly as I get older, so I went with the coarse shampoo. So glad I did. It was the first time I felt my hair truly moisturized while shampooing. Light fragrance. did pull out some color but I believe that is because my colorist didn’t get all the color out when I went to her last week. Very happy how my hair turned out! I followed it up with the for normal hair and felt that was the right choice since my roots tend to get VERY oils very quickly. My hair feels clean, light and healthy! Which after doing vibrant coloring is all anyone can ask for!!!

Terrible! If you were a diehard fan of the original, you will be sorely disappointed. It smells awful, and doesn’t lather like it used to. Please change it back to the original Brilliance, the INVIGO version w lime caviar is a completely different shampoo. Very misleading. I’m ditching this brand (after 7 years) because of this.

Wella Brilliance Shampoo is an absolute lifesaver for all of the damage that I have put my hair through over the years! As a lover of balayage, I am consistently bleaching and re-bleaching my hair throughout the years. Thankfully, early on my salon recommended Wella's Brilliance collection -- I have been using it for years now without any complaints! A little goes a long way, and being able to buy in large quantities on Amazon (and avoiding salon upcharges) definitely helps to keep the cost affordable! I don't know what I would do without this product. The back of my neck/scalp and entire back have been terribly itchy for a while and I was losing what seemed to be a ton of hair so I finally saw my doctor. He said that since it runs the length of my neck/back it is likely my shampoo/conditioner or hair dye and he is absolutely right (all 3 are Wella). The first two ingredients are SLS and SLES so I'm gathering that I may be sensitive. I have since switched to the Wella Elements line (Sulfate Free) and like it almost as much, no itching or hair loss. I will keep this at 5 lippies since it is a great shampoo, I just happen to be sensitive.*****HG shampoo for my fine, highlighted hair that is on the dry side. It smells amazing, lathers like a dream, and a little goes a long way. I buy a huge bottle off Amazon to save some money but it is definitely the best shampoo I've ever used. I don't love the Brilliance Conditioner (doesn't do much for me) but the Brilliance Treatment is absolutely fantastic. I've tried the Wella Enrich Treatment but find that I like the smell and outcome with the Brilliance better.

Literally the best thing I've ever done for my hair

I have used (prestige) brand after brand, done research (lol), read review after review, and was never truly satisfied until I used this!! Literally used it one night and I was amazed at how great my hair felt/smelled. I have fine/normal hair and usually, after washing my hair, I have to put leave in conditioner (for tangles mostly), and after it's blow-dried I have to put some kind of oil in it to feel smoother and calm it down haha! It gets a tad frizzy towards the bottom. The first time I used this, I used the shampoo and conditioner and just wanted to see what would happen if I didn't put any leave-in or oil in my hair and oh. my. goodness. AMAZING. Everyone could see the difference and also smell me from across the room! I'm in love!

NOT COLOR SAFE

This is not safe for color treated hair. I purchased this because of all of the great reviews. I washed my hair with this and followed it with their hair mask from the same line. I instantly knew something was wrong. My hair in the shower felt like it changed texture. Since dyeing, I wash my hair in cold water and do not comb it until it is dry. There was a lot of color that came out in the wash. When I got out of the shower and dried it, I noticed there was a lot of hair coming out. Like a lot. My hair is damaged (I have bleached it and dyed it twice in the past year) and so when I wash it (I was using Matrix Biolage), there is a little bit of hair the comes out- maybe ten strands, but when I used this there were literally fistfuls of hair falling out of my head. The BEST shampoo/conditioner

I think I might have finally found my HG shampoo and conditioner! I have an oily scalp and fine, straight hair but a lot of it. I have never been able to find a shampoo that cleaned effectively (dry shampoo addict), made my hair this shiny, and gave me the body my hair needs so it isn't straight as a board. This shampoo is it. My hair actually feels healthier. Plus, on a scale of 1 to Amika (the best smelling hair products), this is definitely a 9! My hair smells amazing all day too. At first, I thought it didn't lather well, but I realized I had put a scalp treatment in first and that seemed to make it not lather well because it has been fine since then. You wouldn't believe the cost of the damage this caused

I purchased this on suggestion from stylist and first time I used it thought, wow! Smells great, great body and really cleaned my hair. Actually stripped it. I get oily roots, but have dry color treated ends and wanted a shampoo that cleaned without stripping. I alternate shampoos and used this shampoo only about three times in the rotation when I noticed my hair was totally fried. That was about 6 months ago and I am still battling to get my hair back into condition. Since then I have been washing my hair with lukewarm water...using gentle shampoo and multiple hair masks and conditioning treatments and frequent trims cutting more of my length off. I have medium/thick coarse wavy hair. It's coarse due to color treatments and can easily look frizzy, but has a tendency toward oiliness at the same time. So product buying is difficult for me sometimes. If something is toooooo hydrating I can't go more than a couple of days without washing. Have tried a lot of the "anti frizz" shampoos and conditioners and it's just too much and makes my hair look dirty and feel heavy with product.
