My cats are pretty picky and will not eat most treats and some brands of food. They eat dry food and also get wet food for dinner, they usually only like chunks in gravy. I added the Wellness Bowl Boosters Shredded Chicken in Broth to top off their wet food I give them for dinner and they all 3 loved it. I split one pack between 3, but one of them would have easily eaten the whole thing. They cleaned their plates and the broth too!

So I’m on the fence about the rating because both of my cats DEVOURED this food. I liked that it actually looked like real chicken, was saucy, and didn’t stink to high heaven. But the downside was that it was sooooo saucy that no matter how carefully I opened and poured it into their bowl it still spilled and got all over the place. Which was annoying because then it attracted my babies onto the counter. Overall though seems like a good wet food choice and the kitties did enjoy.

I believe there is way too much broth in the pouch. It just gets everywhere and is rather unnecessary in my opinion. This is not a deal breaker but annoying because I almost always forget about it until I go to dump the package and a 1/2 cup of liquid splashes everywhere. I understand it says in broth but I guess I keep expecting more gravy like which it is definitely not. My Yoshi loves them and even has started recognizing the container. The shredded texture is perfect. Unfortunately, Link was not interested. This is not surprising since he doesn’t like most treats. Probably won’t purchase in the future because the mess for me outweighs the benefits of this product.

She’s a picky Persian - she loved the broth but could not be bothered with the shredded chicken. I tried presenting as a topper to her food and as a treat, but she was still only interested in the broth. I am not sure if this product is usually packaged like this, but it could use some revamping; it was difficult to get the chicken out without just completely cutting open the sides of the packages making a bit of a mess. Yet, I do appreciate the individual fresh packets though! Overall, I think most kitties would love this!

Since we added a new 🐶 member to the family the cats had a hard time adjusting to her and had stopped eating regularly. Thankfully the wellness bowl boosters came in and I began adding it to their food as a topper as an incentive to get them eating again. I noticed that they truly enjoyed it and they began eating as they use to again. On the other hand I noticed that it helped them with the way their hair looks, its looking nice again. Will definitely buy for them.

Here is Shehoo! She is not usually out at this time but was very excited to get a post breakfast snack. Our previous cat (RIP) taught Shehoo the wonders of a good broth and gravy. It's hard to find a tasty broth that isn't too watery but has bits of meat that are appetizing but not too big, like whole mini shrimps. This Wellness Bowl Booster has a rich sauce, as you can see in the video, with a large amount of fine shreds of real chicken. A great portion, enough for two cats in one pouch. Can be used as a snack or topped on dry food, which I wouldn't do. The girls hold their crunchies as sacred and do NOT tolerate it altered in any way. We were SO elated to see our precious introvert love bug show such affinity for this product.

My cat loves the shredded texture and sauce of this. She’s become picky and prefers this type of texture in food. It also sits well with her stomach as some other types of foods don’t. I love that it’s a good quality product that is healthy without the added junk. I’m so glad we were able to try this complimentary. It’s been a great addition in addition to Tiki Cat which we mainly used before.

Impossible package

How does anyone open this thing without it going everywhere? Tearing it open causes all the liquid gush out, cutting it is no better, still same result. The worst part is that after all this mess you can't even get the solid bits out of the bottom. No matter how much you squish, shake, or try to scoop there is always some left in the package. On top of it my cat will only partially eat it, so all that hassle doesn't even have a net benefit.
