The quality is better than my Snap-On set from 30 years ago and their more recent sets. This has a number of extra features that make general use nicer:-Extra fine ratchet mechanism-Locking socket pin-Locking handle angles-Soft handle-plastic handle on extensions that allow extension to rotate insidemake general use very nice. The extra size of the handle can get in the way on extremely tight jobs so you may also want a smaller steel ratchet.One of my complaints with this brand is that they don't have any combination Metric/SAE sets so you will end up with a set of each with extra ratchets, etc. Also, they don't make deep sockets for some strange reason.I general, I find this set the best of all but you will need some other pieces to go with it to cover ...
