I bought two of these, one for the desktop, the other for the laptop. Both now have the operating system and programs on them. Boot up time is remarkably quick now, they are like new computers! It was not easy to get hem to do what I wanted initially. I had to learn how to clone, and use Disk Management. It is doable, even for this 60 year old, so try it!

I would recommend this product to someone who wants to lighten their laptop and make it faster, which improving the battery life.
Worked like a charm. Made system recovery disk, backed up the disk image to an external drive, swapped out the WG SSD (BOTH SAME SIZE!), booted from the restore/repair disk and restored the system. Startup much faster, more responsive and faster program loads, R/W and especially larger image files. Should extend battery run time. Upgraded memory from 4 GB to 8 GB. Like a new laptop. Laptops are finickier than desktops and not all can be upgraded. If it's a good value, get an SSD system disk when you purchase your new system and enjoy the performance boost without the add-on expense later.
Worked great. Downloaded the cloning software from their web site and ran it on the new drive with a temporary install of any version of windows. Cloned the original that was connected via USB. Didn't take that long. Booted into windows flawlessly.
I damaged my first one and had to order a new one. I couldn't live without it! it has a soft feel and is perfectly shaped. Having the number pad separate is very useful especially when doing a lot of number work like spreadsheets etc. and the mouse is the most comfortable I have used.
easy to install, I used WD HDD disk copy to copy my old HDD to the new it worked but your data must be smaller than the new drive capicity, Back up uor old drive and deleate teh old data you no longer require it will make the copy faster
I've had it for about a week and its working great, even though it's not as fast as my samsung 870 evo its still way better than a hard drive
