Great microwave for my purposes ie cooking vegetables reheating and defrosting. Was a little worried about dropping down in size from my larger 990 watt oven but it is just as good if not better. Simple to use looks great and fits a large dinner plate. Would have given 5 star but the 5th star wouldnt activate. Highly recommend

The microwaves look cool with all the electronics panel, but every new user needs a demonstration on how to use, defeating its purpose of being a 'quick' reheat appliance.

It functions well. The only point we dont like is that the time display will turn off automatically and you have to press the button to make it shown. Its supposed to be a convenient clock feature but the dim off defeats its purpose and make it inconvenient to read the time.
I seem to have made the right choice with my Westinghouse microwave. It fits perfectly in my alcove and looks great. The timing system is easy to use and so far has given me a trouble free run. Changing from the digital clock to your cooking timer is super easy and it delivers a perfectly cooked dish every time. What more could I ask for t.
Control panel fairly basic. It is bita annoying that occasionally after I have pressed "Time Cook" the cooking process begins before I have finished entering the time ! I have to stop it and start again. This should only happen when you don't press the " Time cook" first in order to select an even number of minutes quickly !I bought this microwave because it was the only suitable one to fit the space available .
This microwave works very well in general however I was disappointed that you cannot select a time of less than 30 seconds. (The only way of timing 20 seconds is to press the 30 second button and watch the countdown.) The door is also very noisy to close which is annoying if family members are asleep. The five beeps when timing is finished are very loud as well (and I have a hearing problem!).
I needed a new microwave for my 87yrs old mother. Goodguys recommended this Westinghouse product as being the simplest to operate. Excellent big writing and only 2 buttons my mum has to remember to press. They matched the best product to my needs and it didn't cost the earth... Thank you
Nice and compact, but still fits a dinner plate which is all I need. The buttons and setting heating times doesnt work in the same way as other microwaves Ive had (ie. pressing 1 automatically starts heating for 1 min. To heat for a specific time like 30sec, you need to hit another button and then input the time.) but its actually convenient once you get the hang of it!
I think there is something wrong with the microwave as it's making a crackling sound like an electrical current that's not grounded when we use it to heat food up, and the plastic film over the keypad is already starting to blister. We've only had this microwave for a few months, and only 2 adults in the household using it so it's not exactly being used often.
