On time and excellent service by the delivery team. Somewhat larger than our previous Deep Freeze but couldn't find anything around the 300l size. Seems a good unit, certainly it keeps things cold (like -20ish). FIrst time we've had a deep freeze with glass shelves. In some respects better than the wire drawers we've had in the past but downside if any moisture on object being placed in freezer, it tends to stick to the shelf. Have noticed an ice buildup too at top of door which is I suspect where air leaks into the fridge after the door is closed (cold air being more dense than warm, the pressure drops as it cools). Would we buy again: from the short time we've owned, yes, but really a question to ask in 10 or so years time!

Great product, great space on shelvers and depth of draws. Door suction is a little over the top but i guess thats what keeps everything frozen solid. Great product, great brand, great quality for mid range pricing. Very happy with purchase and would recommend.

I really like just about everything of the freezer except the door suction. Whilst having a tight seal is important, I'm sick to death of chasing it all over the floor after trying to open the door to replace eg., frozen vegetables after removing from the freezer, tipping what I need of them into a saucepan. Because it only takes a couple of minutes to do this, it's impossible to open the freezer door again unless you wait a few minutes. It's a dreadful flaw and needs to be sorted ASAP as I have since found that a lot of people have the same problem. I've got the little wedges in place that are supposed to stop having to chase the freezer all over the floor but they are useless. Very happy with the Westinghouse All Fridge and All Freezer (pigeon pair). Everything in the fridge is well chilled, and everything in the freezer is properly frozen. What I also liked was the ability to have either fridge or freezer hinged left or right. The layout of my kitchen required both to be left hinged (so I wasn't walking around a door all the time) and this was available for this pair (big bonus to have them hinged like this from the warehouse, and not have to buy a separate hinging kit, and then to have to change the hinges myself). The freezer has a good combination of drawers and shelves, about 50% is drawers, 50% shelves (no shelves on the door in the freezer). Good sturdy door handles that run the full length of the door. Nice crisp white colour.

It is also very energy efficient. Stuck a wattmeter on it for a few days and it averaged .82kwh per day. Slightly better than the stated consumption. Freezer temp setting was compared to my fridge/freezer thermometer and within a degree of each other - excellent. For us the shelf/drawer layout works perfectly. The only niggle we had with this unit was the door seal for the first couple days. It was sticking so tight my wife could not open it, and even I struggled a bit with it. In the past on our Samsung fridge-freezer I have resorted to surgery to modify the drain and prevent blockages; I think doing something similar would also help relieve the vacuum that holds the door closed. But perhaps best left until the warranty expires and seeing if it loosens up over time naturally.
Fitted a lot in the freezer, like the light in it which makes it easier to view things. I do like the different depths of the three drawers that are there. Would have prefered more actual drawers as makes stacking easier, plus easier to put things in/take out.It would mean that you couldn't have variety in shelf location to suit your lifestyle. Much easier to use than a chest freezer!
We have used Westinghouse for over 30 years & simply "upgraded" to a newer model.It is pretty good, however you would think any upgrade would retain the best points from the previous models and improve on the others. Not so in this model - freezer draws are smaller and don't roll as easy, having to use 2 hands to open. also number/placement of shelves positioning has been reduced. Maybe its just a case of getting used to it? Overall happy at this early stage
I bought 2 Westinghouse 388 litre freezers from Appliance on line. Both units use far less power than my previous 25 year old Fisher and Paykel units which were replaced by these units. The units are very quite when operating and the ice maker is great. Both units accumulate some ice build up on the centre of the door near the top edge. Inside lighting is great and the layout of shelves and draws is good.
