I got the Westinghouse WRH908IS 90cm few weeks ago. It works great and the unit price is reasonable. It has good extraction power. 90cm al filters are dishwasher friendly, but i cant fit in to the dishwasher.

Pros: Does what it says on the tin - relatively easy installation and has functional options (light/exhaust)Cons: A bit noisy but nothing too horrible.

Some reviews said this model was noisy, but I did not think it was excessive, given it has 2 fans. It seems much the same as the earlier model, which only had one fan. Important to note that this new Westinghouse model has the outlet in a different position on the top panel compared to the earlier model. This means when there is a need to replace the earlier model (as I did after 17 years), the ducting in the cabinetry is not in the right position. Also, this new model is about 36mm lower in height. I was able to use this 36mm space to use packing timber to deflect the exhaust across to the old ducting position. It would be good if Westinghouse preempted this problem and sold the new unit with a 36mm high "deflector" for optional use.
Builder installed this in new house two years ago and it is very disappointing. Poor suction and very very noisy. Have been putting off the cost and hassle of replacing it but going to have to bite the bullet and do so. It spoils both any conversation and TV enjoyment in our huge open plan living area. PLEASE CHECK OUT EFFICIENCY AND NOISE before you buy any rangehood. This one fails miserably.
Still waiting for JB to close out issues, very dissapointed. Be aware that this product requires intenal charcoal filters plus a customised exaust in ciruculation mode.
Bought this a month or so ago to replace an old one (don't remember the brand) that had shorted out and died. This one was easy enough to install. I like the fact that there are no electronics in the actual pull-out section, as that's what the old one had, and was what led the cable to wear down and eventually short out.It is fairly noisy when pulled all the way out and on the highest fan setting, however the one it replaced was also similarly loud.
