I had an Induction for quite a few years and I am getting used to the new ceramic cooktop. I am getting used to a different type of cooking and have been told that Engineers today are not recommending Induction. We were very lucky as the Electrician (who we do not remember did not install the cooktop correctly and only plugged it into a normal powerpoint and also had it connected to our stove on the other side of the kitchen. Very dangerous but we had no idea until it broke down after about 7 years. I am really getting to know how to use my new cooktop but find that after cooking there are some little silver lines on the glass top and cannot understand why and some do clean off with a special cream but some do not.

It is a clean and stylish looking cook top that sits perfectly on the bench replacing my 30 years old Chef. All the features and settings take a bit of time to get acquainted to since they are digital.The multi ring feature is ideal for different size utensils or self decided heat settings by choosing zone. The warm up in full quicken the startup time. I would recommend this product.

We purchased this cooktop as it was the only one that fit into our stone cutout space. To be honest I was looking at more premium brands when we started our search to replace our old Chef BUT I have to say we are super impressed with the quality and performance of the Westinghouse! For the price it was an awesome purchase and after lots of cooking over the last month - we’re chuffed!
I bought this cooktop to replace an old one and I needed it to fit in the existing cut-out. It really was the only choice out of very limited options, but I was encouraged by the great reviews and my own experience with Westinghouse. I'm very happy with the purchase, it is a fantastic cooktop, heats up very fast, has many heat and element options with the larger 3-in-1 element. The old cooktop fitted in 4 elements, but I found I didn't need the 4th and mostly only used 2 at once anyway. This 3 element configuration is perfect. It's also a breeze to clean and looks great.
It's difficult to find a cooktop that fits an old style cut hole. This cooktop fits like a glove. Ceramic cooktop is much preferred than induction cooktop that requires special cook wares.
I love using it ,it is quick to heat but if the water or any liquid boils over to the plate it goes black and is hard to get off. You cannot clean it till it is cold and even then it does not come off. It comes off after a few cooks and burns it self out until the next time. Only had it a month and there are marks on it. Would not buy it again
I bought this stove just over a month ago and am absolutely thrilled. We were limited with the size of the appliance as our original stove was over 20 years old and only Westinghouse provided an almost exact size to match. I am amazed at the precise heat settings you are able to select, the ease of the touch control and the ability to select one of three hot plate sizes in one. The timer is an added bonus and the cooktop is so easy to clean. I wish I had bought this product earlier.
I’ve had this cooktop for six months or so now and I highly recommend it. It heats up well and cooks great. Easy to clean and looks great.
We were replacing a 45 year old cooktop. We wanted a new one that would drop straight into the bench cutout. Fortunately Westinghouse make this model, which was ideal for our needs. Very happy with the sleek look, and the cooktop is easy to use.
