We bought this 3 weeks ago to replace a 13 year old Westinghouse that was very similar. We love the layout-( it fits heaps of things that we need for a family, and the design of most of the drawers is grea). The ice tray, and door pocket shelf in the freezer is good too. The price and energy usage was also very good. Negatives are: the doors do not close from a single big push, instead, it reaches a point at about 30 degrees where it needs an extra push to close it. With our old fridge, you just pushed it and the door shut. With this one, we kept finding the door had been left open.The bottom fruit and veg drawer is problematic. It needs two hands to open and close it smoothly, as it will jam if you only use one hand. Finally, it is a bit noisier than we expected.

Within three months of purchasing this fridge the evaporator fan began to fail. Now it makes a significant amount of noise, so great to sit in my living room and hear a constant sound of a failed evaporator fan. What a cheap piece of garbage!What makes matters worse is you get told you have to up to wait seven business days to wait for someone to fix it. What an utter disgrace!

There are so few right hand fridges in the market, but we were lucky to find this Westinghouse that fitted our space perfectly and was spacious enough for an empty nester's needs.Unfortunately, due to COVID, despite the agreed delivery date being in July (I ordered in May), we did not get the fridge til September, and that only occured after I followed up (no communication whatsoever during this time). The fridge itself is good - quite spacious and has enough compartments and features to keep the parents happy, but the thudding (poorly welded hinges) is mildly irritating and to have two in a row shows the fault is with the manufacturer.

I have ordered multiple appliances from Appliances Online over the last few years. Very happy with the service. However I'm really disappointed with this fridge. We bought it 4 months ago. We had a Westinghouse with 2 vege drawers at the bottom for over 10 years. It was a dream to use. Replaced with this one which has a single vege drawer. This is the worst feature of this fridge. The drawer gets stuck every time pulling out and you need to bend over and use both hands to align it, wiggle the drawer to put it back in. Sometimes it doesn't go in properly and this stops the door of the fridge from closing. I cry and cringe. The thought of using it for 10 years fills me with despair. We were after a fridge/freezer combo with plenty of room but weren't keen on the French door models. This one certainly has plenty of room. It also runs pretty quietly so far. The ice feature is a nice extra once you figure out how to release the ice.Cons: the doors are extremely heavy and difficult to open from the side. It really should have handles mounted on the front of the fridge. The crisper bin is awful. Most of its volume is taken up by the compressor, which intrudes into the space at the bottom of the fridge. The crisper draw is very difficult to open and close. Constantly gets stuck. Overall, wouldn't really recommend this fridge. Probably a mistake not to go for a French door model. It's just too awkward to use.
We love our new Westinghouse fridge. Keeps the food fresh and the glass shelves give you a good view of everything in your fridge. The only area for improvement would be the vegetable drawer. It is not smooth gliding to open and shut and you need to wiggle it a bit and check it closes properly. Having said that the fruit and vegetables stay really crisp and fresh and we have saved a lot of waste throwing out rotten vegetables as was the case with our old fridge. Would recommend but would be good if Westinghouse improved the vegie drawer on new models.
I had a 20 year old version of this and would have kept it if hadn't started to finally rust out. This model has only one small crisper which is very stiff and hard to push in and out. You can't use it one handed. It's hard on your lower back as you have to bend down really give it a yank and a shove.It needs to come with one more shelf. Also the door shelves are squared off at the door edge instead of rounded like the old model so now you knock your hand on the corners as you take things in and out.It'll do for now, but I will look elsewhere next time.
The fridge has everything we were looking for in a fridge. Having had bottom mount fridges in the past we didn’t like having to pull out the drawers in the freezer to check what you have in there. Plus you had to have the door fully open for the drawers to be pulled out. With the top mount, everything in your freezer compartment is easily seen when you open the door and in the fridge section everything is visible through the glass shelving. That’s my preference anyway. The fridge looks very smart too. I like the ice compartment, no longer have to bang ice cube containers on the kitchen bench to release the cubes. Other than that it is what it is, a fridge, and it does what it’s supposed to do.
Very good sleek design fridge with door alarm. Great shelf spacing. Nice square freezer design. My only criticism is the poor vegetable/fruit crisper has no railing for easy slide in and out. The crisper is very difficult to manouver and gets jammed - needing to be wriggled into position. The crisper needs railing for ease of access.
This fridge works well, but layout not as good as previous same size top freezer Westinghouse. Disappointed usability can become less. Still best option of limited set.- Crisper is one full width draw with no runners. Difficult to get in and out- miss previous deli meat draw. Didn’t take much shelf space- Essentially, top slide outs take place of a shelf. Probably would have preferred shelf- Miss previous wine rack. Previous one does not miss this fridge. Could have bottle in wine rack and squeeze small bottles/cans under- only one deep shelf in freezer door previous had two medium depth
