Spelt is wheat (triticum spelta), so labelling it "naturally wheat-free" makes no sense. You might call it spelt wheat, in much the same way you might say durum wheat (triticum durum), khorasan wheat (triticum turanicum), or bread wheat (triticum aestivum). They're just different different species within the wheat family.

Excellent product for baking cakes etc
Like other reviewers, we have family members who can tolerate gluten but can't tolerate wheat. This is by far the best flour we have tried and we've tried them all. We use this in all baking, breads, cakes, sauces, pastry and it's amazing. Lower food miles being Australian grown. We buy the bulk packs and combine shipping so we always have a pantry stocked. Also, it's delicious!
Great for us as one family member cannot tolerate wheat flour. We do a straight substitute for wheat flour and found no issues. We make loaf bread, quick breads, flat breads, cakes, pasta etc.. with no issues.
