Made from heavy duty plastic and with two handles it is easy to use. A separate air intake would be useful tho.
This would be the best Jerry can I have purchased. The extra handle on the back is a game changer, it makes the transfer procedure so much easier. What I like even more, is that you can lay them on their side, and they don't leak a drop, even after 500kms of corrugated roads and tracks. Made in Australia, say no more.
I have tried a few of the other brands in SCA but they all had problems in one area or another. These cans have a slight effort in getting the lid started to close (sometimes) but then a very tight seal with a good pourer. No fuel spills and I use 6 of them for the jetskis so do use them a lot. I wouldn't buy another brand as all anyone wants is something that works at a good price. Come with comfortable top and side handle. 5*****
After trying many different types and brands of jerrycans, we now only buy Willow. That handle on the rear of the unit makes a huge difference when handling a full and heavy can. There’s no comparison.
The Jerry itself is fine (It has to be to meet Australian standards) The plastic filler tube is however, very poor quality. My last one split in two places along the concertinaed spout spilling petrol everywhere. I'm looking for a replacement.
Easy to lift and hold whilst pouring with the side handle, but you have to one hand lift to get the funnel in the car’s filler as the funnel doesn’t hold a bend well.Whilst it does its job of holding fuel. If either lid is not screwed on straight and ridiculously tight it will leak when tilted. The funnel cap still leaks a bit when pouring anyway as it doesn’t have any seals on the cap. Other than that it would work ok, but would recommend a metal can if you can stretch the budget for one.
A bit expensive but better quality than the other plastic options. Better fill aperture and seal on spout but fill speed is slow. Needs better venting.
Aside from metal jerry cans, these are the best of the range of plastic jerry cans available . They have a side handle that is a great assist in pouring, particularly full can is full.They are more expensive but treat it like an investment in quality. The less expensive one are nearly half the price but quality is what you need when your on a 4wd adventure.
