Very good Volleyball, great for playing with the kids every weekend, I am not a professional so I really can't tell the difference between all the ones we have to play, but the WilsonCastAway design is priceless!, I love this ball so far.

Bought a new volleyball as the kids wanted a softer ball to play at home in our small backyard besides other netball/b’balls we had. The only sold this one at Rebel, rather apt in these times of pandemic restrictions. Will get the kids to watch the movie now!! The ball itself feels nice and smooth and soft for a v’ball, but also a little smaller in size. Good for my kids though.

When I received my volleyball it was filthy dirty, I called the shop and they sent another extremely dirty ball with blue dye all over the ball. I was told at Rebel Sport Marion that they were all the same dirty marked volley balls. Very disappointed with my purchase, staff seemed surprised that I brought the ball back but were very courteous and replaced it with an equally filthy ball. I guess gone are the days of buying a clean new ball. Sad that this is the norm.

After going through a program called SAW (Save A Warrior) which helps veterans, first responders, etc. who have life-limiting PTSD, someone close to me told me about Wilson from Castaway and how they had used that and the co-dependancy was necessary when Tom Hanks was on the island but was not useful when he was found. This really clicked with a lot of the men in his cohort, as they maintained some kind of co-dependancy while in the war zones which was necessary to survive. But after they returned, they continued to be co-dependant but found unhealthy things to become dependant on. So as he told me this, having never seen Castaway, I checked it out and and decided to order one for him as a reminder of his time and the lessons learned at SAW. You just gotta love this ball. I purchased it for my brother-in-laws mancave. I thought it would be an interesting piece to show off to his buddies. Even though it is made by Wilson, I still wish it had the name written on it somewhere around the face.
We bought this for a friend who just got a standard poodle puppy and named him Wilson. We thought the Castaway Wilson would be such a cute gift. . . and it is! It is so stinkin' cute and Wilson the poodle loves Wilson the Castaway.
