Great buy! Break in period was prob about 10hrs of play. Its soft enough to enjoy competitive play and has a surprisingly good grip. I would definitely buy another if I need one in the future. I bought this ball for my 13 yr old.
We previously bought another volleyball for our 8-year-old to learn basic fundamentals with, but it was too hard and left her arms sore and red. After looking at several balls in-store, we bought this one and have been completely satisfied. She is able to pass, set and hit to her little heart out without her arms quickly becoming sore and red.

I needed a sand volleyball and I really liked the tactile feel of the Wilson ball. I prefer to hand set vs. bump set and I appreciate the way the ball feels and how the grooves meet with the fingers.
I bought this a few weeks ago and used it once on a sand court. It worked great! And it was already pumped so I didn’t have to track down a pump.The outer material is soft, which is great on the skin, but doesn’t stand up to sharp objects well. It rolled into a thorn bush a few times and suffered some small tears but that’s the risk in getting this softer material. Overall, great purchase
