These shoes are fantastic. I use these for Padel. I had been getting tendonitis in my ankles from my old Asics and a reviewer recommended these because of the wide fit, cushioning and not too much heel hold down. They worked perfectly. The wide fit was perfect and the Tendonitis has gone. Playing padel is much easier and the grip is fine. For sizing. I got the 46 2/3. This for me is like : Asics 47 Nike 47 UA 47 Mizuno 46 1/2 Keen 46 I hope this helps

I had bad plantar fasciitis for many years. No tennis show worked. I tried top of line Nike, Asics, K-Swiss, but it wasn’t until started wearing this Wilson shoe that my plantar fasciitus stopped nagging me on the court. I used to struggle getting out of bed in the morning the pain was so bad, but not anymore. These shoes are amazing. They breath incredibly well too. I play daily in South Florida and these shoes don’t get soaked like my previous shoes. I move better on the court with these shoes too as I have no pain or fear of pain. I don’t find them heavy at all. Primarily, because they don’t get soaked with sweat like other shoes. One weird thing about these shoes, I wear 8 in the hard court shoes and 7 1/2 in the clay version. My daughter is an elite junior and ... MoreI had bad plantar fasciitis for many years. Wilson is the ONLY brand of tennis shoes I ever buy. And up to now, I was 100% satisfied. But these I have to said, disappointed me dearly. I don’t know if that’s the model, but now the same size that I’ve been using for years came a little bit bigger than usual. Although, the size difference is just a bit, you can feel it on the court. Don’t wanna sound dramatic but screwing up a shoe like Wilson, is tragic. I didn’t return em cause I wore them once and I think it’s dishonest retuning a used item, but in the future I’ll think twice before buying Wilson shoes. It’s a real problem. Other than that, the design looks good. But can help it to feel dissatisfied about the size.

I have played about 30 hours in these shoes and although I wear ThorLo socks, which are fairly thick and absorbent, the white front material shows yellow and brown staining. I assume that this is from sweat. I have avoided white shoes for years since I play exclusively on clay and I don't plan to buy these again. Also, instead of the traditional eyelets for your shoelaces, this model has loops made of string. No problem so far, but I'm waiting for one of them to tear from tightening. The shoe may be a tiny bit larger than my previous shoe, but this is OK for me.
I’ve been using the Rush Pro 4.0 since the late spring and can easily say this is one of the best shows I’ve ever played in. From a fit standpoint, the 4.0 is slightly roomier in the toe box than the 3.5 making it easier and more comfortable to drive out of the toes and balls of the feet. The shoe locks the heel in place very well feeling extremely stable when making aggressive movements. The sole feels way better on this version that the previous one. I move pretty aggressively sliding on hard courts. This shoe really compliments my movement making he feel like I’m in complete control. I’m also blown away by how much longer the sole lasts than the 3.5 and 3.0. All in all, the 4.0 is easily the best shoe I’ve played in in years!
The Rush Pro 4.0 fits great, specifically the white upper fits more snug and firm than the black colored uppers (too loose). The shoe performs great when fresh, however durability could be better.I get on average 40 hours of on court use per pair before the toe outsole is too smooth and worn down about to expose the midsole foam.4.0 fit is better than the 4.5.Wilson should continue to produce the 4.0 until at least the Rush Pro 5.0 is released assuming the 4.5 loose lacing system design is fixed.
Briefly summarized, I purchased the Pro Rush 4.0 online and once received found them to have a lack of cushioning under foot. This is further exacerbated by a very narrow shaped shoe with the toe box being slightly turned in causing a ‘pigeon toe’ affect. Unfortunately these new Pro Rush 4.0 are causing callous and pressure points under the outer bones of the little toe after just two light plays. The white mesh of the upper is luxe and aesthetically pleasing when mixed with the gum sole and navy blue heel but the extraordinarily flat and cushion-less midsole and heel make these all but unwearable for heightened play. Perhaps another shoe in the Wilson lineup will suit my needs better. Thank you.
For over 30 years as an adult, I have worn size 10 men’s tennis shoes, regardless of the brand. I have worn Wilson Rush Pro tennis shoes since their introduction and absolutely love them – all have been size 10.I ordered this new clay shoe, also in size 10, and it feels as if it’s at least a 10.5. This is a much bigger shoe than the size indicates and will have to return it for the 9.5.On a side note, Wilson is making this exchange insanely difficult by mandating I send pictures of the shoe before sending me a return authorization and is stating that I may not receive the once a year promo discount of the 30% which I used to purchase these which is poor Customer Service. All I want to do is replace the clay and regular Rush Pro 4.0 for a smaller size (since they changed it) and they’re making it extremely difficult. This gets a rating of a one out of five, because if a tennis shoe is not true to size, then it reduces performance and possibly encourages injury. If the shoe actually fit right like previous generations, it gets an easy five out of five.
This is the first pair of Wilson’s I’ve ever tried. I’ve been a Nike guy my entire life, but have been frustrated with how quickly I burn through shoes. Sometimes I burn through a pair in 2 weeks.I decided to try these because they have reinforcement in all the places I rip holes: on the toe and on the inside of the foot.I’ve worn them for two sessions and they definitely run bigger than Nikes. Would recommend getting a half size down if you’re a Nike person.I also noticed they were very heavy and I didn’t feel as fast as I’m used to feeling. It felt like I was playing in clown shoes. I wish I could return these, but I don’t want to hurt the small local business I purchased them from.
