Mum picked up this curtain rod to help us in our new place until we have curtains up. We found it hard to make this stay in place. It's fallen down a few times over the past week then last night we found the pole a little bent when it fell down again. We bent this back into place and the pole snapped. This might work better for smaller windows where you don't have to extend the rod far but for wider windows the rod bows and is hard to keep in place even with light curtains.

I returned it as it was very flimsy and I couldn’t get it to stay up. Not strong enough to be fully extended and used as intended
I have now purchased 2 of these extension curtain rods & love them. Super easy to use and durable. Our cat keeps climbing the curtains and pulling the whole thing down & they haven’t broken yet. Love them !!
Fitted well in the space and is holding a medium weight curtain with ease.
We have one curtain on ours to use as a room divider to keep warm air in and the rail works really well, feels secure. No instructions included which was annoying but we figured it out eventually!
We bought this to hang lite cotton curtains in, it bows and we had to put a hook with some string in the middle to keep it from sagging.
Not great, but good solution for renters, wouldn't recommend for heavy curtains. Took me a while to figure out how it works...Good luck!
These aren't actually spring-fit tension rods, there's a tiny spring in one end that barely moves, the rod just has a twist centre and they break really easily with not much weight. Have tried two with the sasme result.
