My eyes use to water and I would sneeze all the time. My sinuses would drip off and on. Well that all stopped. Winix makes a great product and the price is fantastic. I almost spent $800 to $1500 for another competitor’s product. Winix was under $200. Kudos!!!

i have had this on for about 3 days now in an open-ish 750 sqft area. works like a charm. doesnt take away all the smell because, ya know, smell seeps into things, but the air is noticeably cleaner. this is important in a home with too many pets like i have. im happy with this purchase.

I'm going back to filtered air purifiers. The other kinds all break down within a couple of months. I am liking this one so much that I bought a second for another bedroom. Thank you for making a product that actually works!
This little powerhouse cleans so well, I could immediately smell the air was cleaner. I like the nightlight to toggle off the lights so you can sleep at night. I like that it has a very quiet setting, but also has a louder setting for those of us who love white noise, because it is very soothing. I am using this for my office but I will also use this at home too.
I was dealing with toxic black mold in my house and hadn’t been able to breathe for so months. I bought this purifier and within about 30 minutes of having it on I started being able to breathe a lot better. It made a huge difference in my house in such little time.
I normally love winix purifiers due to their simplicity but good design and performance. I have one of their larger units and its perfect, has plasmawave, has auto mode, and even auto night mode. I found this one laking though, it has an auto mode but fails to have an auto dimming feature like the other older models? Meaning you have to use the display off/night button when you want to toggle that option instead of auto changing. Its noticeably noisy even on its lowest setting, maybe its just me being a light sleeper. It also vibrates alot, I had this on my dresser but noticed anything on the dresser would shake and move around. Id pass on this unit and try a different brand for this size purifier.
After buying (and returning) several supposed air purifiers that were merely fans pumping out cold air, I bought this WINIX A231 Air Purifier. Wow! It does a fantastic job of cleaning the air in my bedroom. I ran the unit 24/7 on medium speed, checked the HEPA filter after three weeks and was happy to see lots of dust on it instead of on the tops of my bed frame, dresser and night stand. I will be buying another WINIX for the living/dining area.
Works well and is quiet. I enjoy the features, especially the air quality signifier with the color of the lights as an indicator. Most air purifiers don't have that feature. I don't know how accurate the actual system is in testing the quality of the air, but it seems to be built well, so for now I trust it.
