Really nice product! Love this brand. I got another type years ago, it works very well still. The WiFi function doesn't work that well actually, have to download the app on the phone. I don't like this.
The app not functioning correctly and doesn't respond. Although I have a strong ISP with other devices connected to the same wifi system such as Dyson air purifier, I only have problem with this new Winix purifier so I need to return it.
I havent had a chance to figure out if it is what I am hoping it will do, which is to remove odors from the air, but I figure it works like any other filter. The buttons are intuitive and easy to use. I think that the app could be a lot better. The Wi-Fi functionality is worth the extra for me because of the fact that it works OK with Alexa. Being blind I cannot see the information that the machine would show such as when I need to replace the filter, And the Wi-Fi functionality solves this issue.
I bought this based off other reviews, but returned it. Wouldn't buy this if you have children or pets. The buttons are on the top and sensitive. Barely slide your finger over and it changes it. So, you can imagine paws. Then the front cover is barely held on by magnets at the top. So, they easily knocked that off multiple times. Couldn't leave it on unless I was in the room. When it was running, it was very quiet. But a couple weeks later, didn't notice any improvement in air quality. Filters still looked clean. Spraying a room freshner, cooking, etc. didn't set off the auto feature either. It just stayed blue like it was all fine. The only positive was, it did run quiet on low...
Great product. Quite. Easy to setup and use. Less dust in the house. Cleaner smelling air.
Work well and are pleasing to the eye. The wifi keeps disconnecting. The c545 from Costco stays connected which is strange.It's also annoying it doesn't store the schedule locally. It will only perform the schedule connected to wifi.
