It's the first time leaving a review about shoes. The only reason is I felt so confused about the size due to all the previous reviews and my experience of AF1.My general size is 7 (Based on Adidas/Timberland/Skechers), La Sportiva's climbing shoes fit me well, so I have slim feet. I need to size down to 6.5 for all Nike lifestyle shoes. Meanwhile, I do sized up the size compared to air force 1, which is my general size 7. My right foot is smaller than my left foot, so the right shoe is even a little bit loose on my right side. That's saying maybe you don't need to size up if it's your first Nike shoes.Of course, the best way of saving time is to try it on in your local store.Except for the size issue, Free Metcon perfect fits my demand. These shoes conveniently arrived while working out legs in my garage. I put them on immediately! They fit great and feel great! I agree with the other shoppers, size up a half size. I normally wear a women’s 10 in sneakers and ordered the 10.5. They fit perfect. Very comfortable. Good toe box. Good support at the ankle. Flexible sole. I am very happy with this purchase.

Comfortable and stylish but runs small

I had been eyeing these shoes for a while and finally decided to buy them. Some reviews said they run small, so I went to a local shoe store to try out the fit. I've been wearing Nike shoes for almost two decades and I have been a solid size 8.5 in Nike's women, but had to size up to a 9. The primary purpose of these shoes are for working out, which mainly consists of circuit training and some cardio. I noticed a huge difference in the stability compared to my NMDs. They're more lightweight and provides better stability for pivoting, balancing, and weightlifting. My trainers noticed a difference in my stance as well. I've had these shoes for about a month now but I've worn them to work out about 4 times a week. They're holding up well so far and I love the style. Comfy, sporty sneakers!
26 May 2021

These shoes took a little getting used to for me! They’re a different style than I normally wear. But once I wore them a bit, I really liked them! They’re very form fitting, which felt very supportive. They were comfortable to wear but not too squishy. The tongue is part of the rest of the shoe, not separate, and weirdly that took getting used to. But it’s better that way - there wasn’t any extra pressure from that part of the shoe like I’ve found on my other sneakers. I am not a huge fan of the bright white shoe personally, but I liked the pops of orange and teal that stood out! These shoes felt very sporty which is great for working out! I mostly jog and haven’t been to a gym much due to shutdowns so I didn’t get to experience these as much that way. But they were ... MoreThese shoes took a little getting used to for me! I would definitely recommend these to friends looking for good sporty shoes and I look forward to continuing to wear them myself!

Great looking shoe, comfortable, but tricky to put on
27 May 2021

This shoe looks fantastic, the mix of colors are modern, but it still feels like a shoe that can be paired with a lot of different styles. The arch support was just what I needed and while the shoe feels snug right when I put it on, it also feels very supportive. There's good tread on the bottom of shoe that provides a good grip over a lot of different terrane. The only thing I found tricky was actually getting the shoe on. It's so supportive and part of that is because there isn't a separate tongue like on most other sneakers. That made it a little challenging to put on at first, but as I've worn them more, it's gotten a little easier to maneuver. Overall, they are very supportive, provide great arch support and look fantastic.

It’s like walking on clouds

I am a speed walk of 6 and am always on the go. I walk the kids to and from school plus I speed walk daily on my treadmill. I usually walk about 7 miles per day. I need comfortable shoes yet I want to look stylish. These definitely fit the bill. My teens don’t think I look like an old mom and my feet don’t scream at the end of the day. After one walk they were broken in and super comfortable. They are a lightweight shoe yet extra cushiony. The only drawback is that they don’t have a real tongue so if you have a wide foot you could struggle getting these on. Other than that they are perfect for what I am looking for; a daily shoe plus something I can work out in.I love the colors and I feel like these go with just about everything. I would not hesitate to buy ... MoreI am a speed walk of 6 and am always on the go. I walk the kids to and from school plus I speed walk daily on my treadmill. I usually walk about 7 miles per day. Surprise
20 November 2021

I open the box and these are white and look huge (they are- they're size 9). I avoid white shoes because they look like giant boats. And these, with their thick white soles, are no exception. But here we are, and these are specifically for review, so I'll pawn them off to a sister or niece after reviewing them, right?Except they're SO GOOD. I was wary about the slip-on factor, which is still odd to me, plus the shoe laces. But they are like walking on supportive clouds. I'm not a fitness guru or exercise regularly, but I do push 110+ lbs in a wagon for a brisk walk from time to time. Sometimes I add 45 lbs to that load. They are perfect for my lifestyle. I'm glad I was guided out of my comfort zone to try these. They're keepers.

They feel great!
26 October 2022

Alright, when purchasing these shoes they were so many conflicting reviews regarding sizes. I'm usually a size 8 in Nike. My feet are I'm. I ordered two styles sizes 8 and 8.5 and both fit. I will say the 8.5 feels more comfortable because I can wiggle my toes. So if you like space on your shoes especially for training go a half size up. The shoe actually feels nice and it definitely grips your whole foot. Definitely recommend for training and doing HIT workouts.

Very comfortable training shoes, great fabric and color.
2 June 2023

Very comfortable training shoes 👟. I practice HIIT , cardio, lunges, squats, etc every morning and they are absolutely comfortable. They feel very light. They are exactly what I was looking for. Their sole is perfect for training on the ground. Also, my feet feel much more secure when I'm jumping or doing lunges. The colors and design are great 👍😃 I really recommend them. I am size 8 but I ordered 8.5 and they fit perfect. Not tight but I recommend to get a half size bigger for training purposes I can say: I love them!

super cute and comfortable

These are absolutely the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn! It's cute, flexible, lightweight, and comfortable on my feet. I also get a lot of compliments on the shoes whenever I wear them to the gym.I really hope more shades of these shoes drop and Nike continues to make them. Because, as someone who has tried both Free Metcon 4 and 5, I think Free Metcon 4 is more stylish, more comfortable, provides greater ankle support, and is lighter compared to 5. I will definitely buy another pair as a backup. (But I really hope for additional colours to drop.) I wear my shoes for weight lifting, walking, and cardio, and I also wear them while travelling.I got my usual size (7), and it fits like a glove!
