I really love this line and the 25/26 have really elevated the shoe. For the 26, they improved traction which was sorely needed from the 25. They also improved the breathability of the upper. The only glaring issue is the tag on the tongue. It has rough edges and if you don’t have the right socks to protect you, it can get really uncomfortable quickly. If they removed that or changed it to something more comfortable, it would literally be one of the most perfect shoes ever. Hoping the 27 can fix that. Honestly really great shoes. I have between standard and wide feet and at first I thought they were too narrow but after the first 2 uses, they loosened up a bit. I don't run more than 5 miles at a time currently but even then I have always struggled with shin splints and calf cramps and these shoes helped a lot. Yes, most every running shoe needs breaking in so expect that foot pain but remember to walk or jog through it and apply pressure. Wear running socks, they prevent moisture and provide cushion to avoid blisters and if you know you are prone to blisters, wear a band-aid for the 1st and 2nd use. Do dynamic stretches before a run and static stretches after a run. Overall, these shoes are lightweight, very cute, super breathable, snug with a lot of room around ... I first tried the nimbus series 25 and I absolutely loved it. I use them for running occasionally but mostly I use them for work. I stand for 12-14 hours a day during my shifts, with my flat feet you can imagine that gets pretty painful very fast. The nimbus 25 was a god send, it felt like standing on a cloud and it came in handy whenever I needed to sprint. I bought the 26 so I could cycle between the two of them and for a change in colors. What I can notice is that the size remained the same, the fit on the 26s is a little tighter around the tongue and the heel collar and it feels a little firmer in comparison to the 25s model. I find these differences work well for me, now I tend to use the 25 when I know I will stand for longer periods and the 26s when I will be ... The Nimbus-26 are an improvement from the Nimbus-25. Same amazing support without the pillowy, slightly bouncy feel of the Nimbus-25. Plenty of room across my metatarsals without looking bullky. In summary I highly recommend the ASICS Nimbus 26 for distance runners and for all healthcare workers who work long shifts. You won’t think about your feet at all! They are truly amazing and a substantial improvement from the 25! Thank you ASICS!!!.
I need a comfortable shoe for working on concrete floors 10 hours a day. Nimbus 26 cushioning felt great on my feet. However, I underpronate, i.e. supinate, so the outer edges of my heels and outer balls of my feet hit first while running or walking. I purchased the Nimbus 26 based upon Asics’ website recommendation for underpronation. I expected my feet to feel neutral in the shoe while standing such that the inner and outer edges of my feet are level. However, while standing in these shoes, the inner part of my feet (the arches) were tipping upward at an angle rather than sitting level. The fact that my arches are tipping upward exacerbates underpronation, rather than provide needed support. Also, the shoe laces are too short for “heel lock lacing” to prevent heel ... Since I loved them so much, I went ahead and bought the 26’s and they’re… not good. For me at least. I’ve worn them on three runs so far and on all three my pinky toes have gone numb in the first two miles. It’s not a size issue. The length and width are perfect and the same as the 25’s. If anything, the 26’s are a touch bigger in length. But I believe the problem is either the new lacing structure or the firmness in the forefoot or a combination of the two. I didn't know that to expect from a shoe of this caliber and I can say it is completely worth the price I paid for them. As a heavier runner, the cushion provided is perfect for me for training and recovery runs and leaves my feet, knees, and hips with a noticeably less fatigued feeling compared to the other shoes I was running in before these. I love the heel cushioning and the gel construction is perfect for this. The fit is true to size and has a narrow appearance, but still has plenty of room in the toe box. The knit upper is breathable, stretchy, and feels great with an almost sock like feel to it. The new outsole has plenty of grip in wet weather, as well as gravel like paths. One of my favorite features is the integrated tongue that stays put, and the heel cup with cushion and great material usage that will not rub or create any friction points. 10/10 would recommend this shoe to literally anyone and everyone! If I could have one pair of shoes for the rest of my life, it would be the Gel Nimbus 26 hands down, and I can't wait to get one in every color!

The most noticeable change is that the bottom of the lace throat loses the “W” shape and is now a “V,” the lacing system gets more built up with wider straps over the arch. I find this extremely helpful as my ankles tend to become unstable after a few hours of running, so this new, simple feature has been welcomed. The most significant changes are the firmer midsole, helping them become considerably more responsive than the Nimbus 25, but also keeping a very similar soft feeling.Apart from those improvements, overall, it’s a very similar shoe from the Gel-Nimbus 25, and if you enjoyed the previous model, you will certainly enjoy this one. It feels good to run in and it’s a much firmer shoe and up there as one of my top pics for longer runs.

Was running in ON cloudrunner and knees figured out real quick they were way too firm. I decided on these for extra cushion and first impressions is they were definitely that. Very comfy but also stable. However I did not do my research about the breathability. It's summer here now and even just wearing these casually they are wayyy too warm. Would definitely be a winter shoe for me..however. today I ran a 10k and right before 5k I started to feel a hot spot under my left toes.
