I am impressed with the New Balance Fresh Foam X 1080v13 shoes and like them very much. Not only are they comfortable, soft and are like walking on clouds but they are stable, supportive and safe for me. These shoes saved me from a fall in the street! I have spurred heels and plantar fashcitis that cause me to lose my balance sometimes. A few weeks ago when I was walking in a street in the city with an unsmooth (hilly with cracks) pavement I almost lost my balance and tripped but then I felt that these shoes that have good traction somehow helped to straighten my feet and kept me upright and saved me from falling. A miracle! After this experience I bought a 2nd pair of these shoes which I will be wearing all the time while walking.

Once again, New Balance has hit it out of the park!! This shoe is so amazing! I’ve been loyal to the 1080 model for years and I think this is the best one yet. I’m using them for marathon training and they def keep my feet comfy on long distances, so much cushion. The toe box is plenty wide and I haven’t experienced any rubbing from the tongue or the back. I just wish they would come out with some fun colors. I will be purchasing another pair or two!

Great shoe, color different than photo. Fits pretty good overall, and very cushiony. Bummed that it’s more of a Coral, persimmon color than red which it is named and looks like a soft red in photos. I know color is hard on monitors but this dye lot is very orange-pink and light. Doesn’t look red at all. Since I’m getting them to go with certain color fitness clothes would be good to have better color representation.

Why are NB not bringing the more v4 to Europe in womens wide???I have ordered two pairs of the 1080 v12 and now v13 and both of them make the bottom of foot numb! In as little as a 5k, my foot becomes numb and I can't wear the shoe. I have tried every lacing technique there is, and there is something with this shoe that causes it.I am a big fan of the More V4, but in Europe it's almost NEVER available in my size in wide! I have looked and mailed and asked and begged and pleaded... PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE NEW BALANCE, ship the More V4 in WOMENS wide to European consumers! t
The are the only athletic shoe sold in my size so I had no choice but to buy them. I previously had the 880’s which weren’t perfect (again the only shoe available in my size, 13N, from any manufacturer) but these are just awful. Maybe they are good for running but they are terrible for other types of workouts, like kickboxing or weightlifting which require stability and support for lateral movement. They are like Sketcher’s rockers. I guess they’ll help strengthen my ankles if I don’t sprain them first.
I broke my ankle in 2020 and had hardware put in that had to be taken out in 2023. My ankle had never been the same since and my doctor wanted to have another surgery. I went and bought these shoes and it prevented me from having another surgery. It completely corrected my foot ankle and knee. These shoes are simply the best. The day I went for my surgery the doctor sent me home and said he has never seen a shoe save someone from an operation. I’ll never wear a different shoe again, so please never stop making them!!
SO happy with these shoes! I wear a size 12 narrow, and I’d like to thank NB for carrying my oddball size! With my big feet, you’d think it would mean a heavier shoe, but these shoes are light as air, with vast amounts of cushioning and support. And another great thing is the heel portion is crafted perfectly so my heel doesn’t slip. I ordered and returned several other brands that came highly recommended before I read a review about this model and ordered them. I’m so happy I did. I’ll never wear another running shoe except from the NB Fresh Foam line. A little on the spendy side, but worth every penny.
These just looked ridiculous on my feet. The soles are much too thick and unstable I found the interior cushion lacking. My feet looked HUGE and they were not for me. Others Amy love them but they're not for me. I am glad however that the narrow size choices were better. I ordered the pink so it was refreshing to be able to choose something besides black or white. Thank you for that! I am currently wearing the previous model which I love but they're quite worn since I've had them for 3 years!
I was looking forward to this shoe based on the reviews. I truly liked the fit and ride of this shoe. Foam was as described, cushioned with a bit of pop!To my disappointment, the lateral outsole wore down like a soft eraser. After three short runs, I was getting close to the midsole.I have used both the v11 and 12, both of which showed much better outsole durability. I would happily take the extra weight for longer outsole wear given the price of the shoe.
This is the worst 1080 they have made... they took the super soft and form fitting stretchy upper with the nice smooth pull on style heel and made the uppers on these v13s retrictive and bulky feeling. They do not move with your foot, they do not give your toes as much space to stretch. The foam sole is soft, but they took away some of the rocker aspect of the previous shoes... these feel like everything else on the market, stiff, stuffy, tight in the toesand the heel with the plastic "supports" is atrocious...how do you go from someting so soft and strtchy to something that feels like a cast on your heel? I feel like the v13s should have been released as a completely different model and the v10 and v11 should have continued on. Those of us who loved the v10 and v11 ...
