I received this product from Influenster and New Balance for free I exchange for my honest opinion. WOW. These are *so* comfortable, cushioned and supportive all at the same time. I was a little worried that they were going to be too small, but after warring for a little bit, they fit just fine. The shoe is a little heavy but isn’t stuffy because of the ventilation. Super cute colors too! Highly recommend if you would like some cute, comfy sneakers!

These New Balance Women’s Fresh Foam X More v5 are absolutely amazing! My mother is completely in love with them! She’s always had regular shoes with supposedly “memory foam” cushion that fades away within a month of use. The shoes are true to size and fit her perfectly (size 10). Some qualities include being lightweight, breathable and the “Fresh Foam” technology cushion is top notch. This is perfect for her daily walks without taking a heavy toll on her joints. She’s since then has had diminishing pain and discomfort since changing shoes. We highly recommend these New Balance Women’s Fresh Foam X More v5!

Better than v5

I love this new version!Yeah for all colors in wide- there was a time when only a few colors were offered in wide widths.This shoe now has a truly wide toe box in v5.I struggled with v4 as even in wide the toe box was narrow.More cushioning and a better looking shoe!I bought 2 pairs as a nurse on my feet, I want to rotate pairs.My only complaint is after doing ID Me for the Nurse Discount- which I appreciate as a nurse- More shoes are not included.Hey New Balance- why not help Nurses and those who qualify for an ID Me Discount- Healthcare Workers and Teachers- use the discount on all models and not just a few??Healthcare Workers and Teachers work super hard and are underpaid. Comfortable sole, foot numbing sock

I purchased these shoes for urban power walking. Sadly, my arthritic joints can no longer handle the force of running. I log 40-45 miles a week. The thick, shock absorbing sole is great for that. Truly a dream. It puts a spring in my step. However, the knit upper fabric is like a compression sock around my foot and a tourniquet around the ankle. It's given me blisters at the tips of my toes, and ligature marks around my ankles. It's just too tight. I'm wearing a full size above my regular shoes, like I do for all running-type shoes. My feet are solidly average in width. I tie the laces just tight enough to keep them on my foot. This is my 3rd pair of New Balance in 3 years, and each pair of this sock style shoes is progressively worse. This trend for knit ... MoreI purchased these shoes for urban power walking. This trend for knit compression type shoes makes my feet fall asleep. Riding in the car is torture. On an airplane? no way! The design is truly tarsal tunnel syndrome inducing. Please fix this! I love New Balance, have been a loyal customer for 25+ yrs. But if you have any kind of arthritis, connective tissue, circulatory or other condition that might cause swelling or inflammation in your feet, these shoes are NOT for you. REDESIGN THE FOOT UPPERS PLEASE. STOP WITH THE KNIT COMPRESSION construction. I really wanted to love these, the sole is great, but the upper shoe construction is causing a new category of injury. Their use will be extremely limited. Please test your products on athletes of the same age and demographic who are likely to wear them (super fit 55yo woman, former runner, with a little arthritis). This cannot be that hard.

For the every day walker, this should be an ideal shoe, as the extra cushion feels amazing.For myself, I suffer from Plantar Fasciitis & Morton’s Neuroma in the same foot, and thought they may be the cure-all.I honestly don’t think that exists in a shoe, but for the first few hours on my feet, they feel great- which is a big relief- I am a middle-aged woman of 135 lbs who works 8-10 hours a day 5-7 days a week.I order a shoe in wide fit, and have noticed my shoes rub between on the inside when I drive, causing a “way too soon” wear on the foam exterior…That’s my only complaint

Exceeded my expectations. Great for bad feet!

I bought these shoes before starting a two month trip in China across 30 cities. A lot of walking on hills, stairs and bad streets in old cities. Was nervous because I have arthritis in my foot that had me in a medical walking boot for months last year but I have to RAVE because these shoes have such stability and comfort that my foot hasn’t hurt a single time while wearing them on this trip. Outstanding shoes. Exceeded my expectations

Great but..

I really enjoyed these shoe. The only problem is that it felt a bit too tight, like a tight sock feeling. I typically do like the sock like shoes but this one was slightly too fitted. I usually wear 9.5 but I had to return. I'll be driving to a near by store instead to try on the size 10 or 10.5 for better comfort. The foam foundation feels fantastic. If you're questioning it, believe me they're worth the buy!! The only recommendation is to up one half or full size!

Holy Grail Shoe

I have never been happier with a shoe in my life. I’m a former professional ballerina on my feet all day now as a fitness instructor. I’m dealing with arthritis, bunions, and pronation. I’ve been on the search for a ridiculously padded, ridiculously wide shoe, with low heel drop. This is EVERYTHING. I replaced the insole that came with the shoe with my own because my arches are so high, but other than that, I don’t think I’ll be taking these off any time soon. Will order in other colors, I just wish the black color was more monochromatic, the grey looks a little weird.

Toe box very shallow - went 1/2 size up/wide = no

Love everything about this shoe except for an amazingly tight and shallow toe box! The top of the toe box squishes down my toes something awful - way too much pressure for comfort. I had the same issue in the 1080 new version and I ended up getting a wide and it fixed that. These in a wide feel exactly the same. I don't think I want to try yet another size so will just wait for the new version with a hopefully completely redone toe box that actually has room for your toes! And I don't have high volume feet - they are wider but I don't have some sort of strange monster toes or anything. not enough control or stability on outside of shoe

Looking for a new running shoe. Had New Balance in past. Whated to like, nice and cushy, but not for my me. I stand heavily on the outside back of my foot and these promote that. I am scared I will roll off the shoe. I even ordered a wide. It is not the shoe it is my biomechanics. I love reviews that help me decide if I should try a shoe. Thought I may be able to help other that need more stability on the outside of the shoe.
