This is by far my best ever sports bra. I love the shape it gives me and the level of support for running. The only big downside is that the underwire doesn’t seem to be very strong as it has snapped in 3 bras now. It always happens when I am out running. At first I thought it was a faulty underwire (I did contact head office) but it has happened again with 2 more bras. I only ever hand wash them and follow the care instructions. This is frustrating as at nearly £50 a time (including the postage fee) I don’t want to be buying at least 2 a year. I have tried the non wired bras but the shape is no where near as good so that is why I keep coming back to this style, even with the limited life! Please Bravissimo can you look at making the underwire out of a stronger ... MoreThis is by far my best ever sports bra. My daughter plays a competitive field sport with a ton of sprinting. She struggles to find the right support as at high speeds, she gets upper back tightness/spasms. She measures a 32DD. I ordered both the 32DD and the 34DD and the 34 is the right balance of support with elasticity for sprinting. Title9 helped us return the 32 for a second 34DD, and these bras are far superior to any other brand she's tried (and we've tried a lot). Much better than her other solution which is to wear two sports bras)

This review declares 'no monoboob here' but that is an achievement they've not reached yet. Total monoboob. It's an unwired bra in a G cup so maybe there is no real surprise but I'm a little disappointed. However I'm keeping it as the straps can't slip down due to the notches and they can't slip off due to the racerback clip - I will only buy bras with this racerback clip now & the Jenna bra is my all time fave. How did it take humanity so long to fix the strap slip issue?! It's really easy to slip it over your head with the top clip done up then negotiate your boobs in before doing it up like a normal bra. The Run bra is slightly harder to do this with but it's a Sports Bra so that's to be expected. I like the bright colourway.

Excellent support for two hour runs. This is the only run bra or firm support bra I feel fully supported in for longer runs.I still use another shock absorber crop top over the top for extra compression. I find the shoulder straps slightly too long, usually wear on shortest setting but in the past I've had to cut and shorten them.True to size but I find there is a little too much volume of fabric in the top of the cup, they're made for a 20 year old I think! I find this with any full cup bra though and wear half cup balcony bras for everyday for this reason or there is too much fabric at the top of the cups. With this run bra I make a triangle shaped dart in the centre top which makes the cups less full at the top for flatter breasts, to get a firmer fit in that ... MoreExcellent support for two hour runs. This is the only run bra or firm support bra I feel fully supported in for longer runs.I still use another shock absorber crop top over the top for extra compression. With this run bra I make a triangle shaped dart in the centre top which makes the cups less full at the top for flatter breasts, to get a firmer fit in that area. It's not difficult to get into. Every other run bra I've tried offers less support and most are impossible to put on or get off when wet without assistance, so Shock Absorber wins hands down on that too.Less chafing than other bras due to the ultra firm fit. When the bra starts to chafe under the arms/at the sides it just means the elastic has reached the end of its life and the bra need replacing. When new, these bras will keep you running in comfort for hours, even when wet, with no painful chafe!
i've been wearing the ultimate run bra for years. when i first found it the 32C was a perfect fit (im actually a 30D). over the years the 32C got bigger and bigger. i switched to the 30D and it was perfect. now the website advises to size up. and sure enough, the 30D is so tight it impedes respiration. the 32C cup is a little small, the 32D cup is a little big. both are functional but neither is perfect. also the fabric is not as soft and the stitching not as fine. i suspect longevity will suffer, but im optimistic. shock absorber bras are ridiculously expensive in the US. no matter the exchange rate and shipping its more cost effective to buy from the UK. international return policies aren't kind. so, i recommend this bra, but until you are certain of your size, ... Morei've been wearing the ultimate run bra for years. when i first found it the 32C was a perfect fit (im actually a 30D). over the years the 32C got bigger and bigger. i switched to the 30D and it was perfect. now the website advises to size up. and sure enough, the 30D is so tight it impedes respiration. the 32C cup is a little small, the 32D cup is a little big. both are functional but neither is perfect. also the fabric is not as soft and the stitching not as fine. i suspect longevity will suffer, but im optimistic. shock absorber bras are ridiculously expensive in the US. no matter the exchange rate and shipping its more cost effective to buy from the UK. international return policies aren't kind. so, i recommend this bra, but until you are certain of your size, order nothing that isn't on clearance.
I buy these often as they are the only bras that don’t allow bounce! I can highly recommend. The under-band comes up tight so although I am a 28 I buy and 30 and in fact since I started weightlifting I’m wearing a 32. Cup size G with the 32. I wash them on a cold wash with an eco detergent and they are fresh as the day I got them and last years. I always have to adjust the arm straps which help bring the cups into the chest and give some compression. A staple favourite.
I’m sorry I have to write a bad review.I sized up as was advised. It’s very difficult to put on unless my hubby can fast the upper strap.Once on the shoulders dig in and by the time I’ve finished class my neck muscles ache. The straps are on the longest fit. I’ve tried fastening at the front and swizzling it round as one of your customer suggested but it’s far too tight to do that. I have cut the top buckles off and it will probably fray now. I would not buy this style bra again and worried to buy from you in case they don’t fit. . I’m only a size 12 so not overweight.
Ordered the Ultimate Run and Absorber D+ in a size larger following reading the reviews, I am usually a 34F. The Asorber D+ 36F was snug but ok. Despite being the same size the underband on the Ult Run was at least 2 inchs shorter. However, I liked the Ult Run bra so re-ordered in a size up again 38F, when it arrived it was still smaller than the 36F D+ but I have just managed to fasten it and hope it stretches a bit. Can`t understand why there is such a difference from the same company.
I used to always rely on wearing two very tight sports bras while running until I found this one. I was originally sized in a brick and mortar store, so there were no surprises with the sizing. However, I also wear a 34 DD with my regular bras. They also don't seem to get as smelly as past sports bras (or my running clothes). My only complaint is that the color bras aren't as supportive as the black ones.
The sizing for this bra is weird. As many others have mentioned the chest sizing runs small. I also found the cup size ran large. I initially ordered a 32DD. It was uncomfortably tight around the chest, but the cups were too large. I exchanged it for a 34D, but the cups were still too large, It is also really difficult to put on. I decided that I wasn't going to want to wrestle with it each day as I'm quickly trying to put on my workout clothes.
