The Wood Wick candles are all worth the investment because they are made high quality. The crackle is definitely like being next to a fireplace and the throw of the fragrance is wide range. I would recommend this candle for events or to entertain because it definitely has a WOW factor with the way the flame burns. Because of the way the flame burns, the candle wax doesn't last as long on the Ellipse Wood Wick. If you are like me and burn the candle for a long period of time without blowing the flame out, and you're buying it for longevity, I would recommend the Pillar style Wood Wick instead of the Ellipse Wood Wick candles because they will burn for days and will last for the value of the price paid.

Spiced Blackberry is my favorite of all your scented candles! I had been purchasing them locally, but thought I would begin ordering directly from your online site. While the wait time for delivery was a bit lengthy, I expected that, due to Covid related delays. I have enjoyed these candles for a long time, so I am aware of the routine in lighting them, distinguishing them, and the suggested length of the wick. With this particular candle, the flame is extremely short and as a result (I assume), the wax is not fully melting as the flame burns. Rather, there remains quite a bit against the glass. I do plan on contacting your company tomorrow to inquire as to what can be done to resolve this problem.

I bought one of these candles a few months back and finally got around to lighting it. I regret not lighting it sooner! What an absolutely enjoyable experience! I love listening to the crackling of the wooden wick, and the spiced blackberry scent makes the entire house smell like a fresh baked pie. My candle is already halfway gone, and I’m looking forward to restocking with more wood wick scents! Very pleased with my purchase.

I bought this candle last month for something a little different than my usual fireside or pumpkin butter. I must say, it is one of my new favorites. It has a wonderful berry smell with a cinnamon kick. It has a great throw and the sound is so relaxing. I have to be careful which candles I burn because certain smells give me headaches (clean scents). I find if I stick to more natural fragrances; cinnamon, berry, clove scents than I do not have any issues. Thank you for giving me a new option!
My hubby is VERY particular about what home fragrances that I use, most of them he despises! I bought this, because I love blackberry, and I crossed my fingers. Well, he just adores it! It is his favorite! He said that he wished that I used this scent all the time! He said it brought back great memories from when he was a youngster. I guess I'll have to stock up! I think this scent is fabulous, hope you never change it or stop making it!
I think Spiced Blackberry is absolutely fantastic! The blackberry in this candle is mulled and deep. It reminds me of warm blackberry pie filling seasoned with toasted cinnamon. There are hints of crust and vanilla but it's not a bakery gourmand candle - spiced fruit is the dominant theme. I have no problems with the burn on this candle and it pooled evenly after several hours. Throw is medium/strong in a traditional home/typical living room, about a 6-7/10, and the fragrance traveled into several rooms. Several years ago the "other mall store" made a candle called Berry Pumpkin Strudel which is similar, but this is MUCH better. That one was sharp and overbearing. Spiced Blackberry is clearly more nuanced and sophisticated. Highly recommended.
Great smell, strong enough to notice burning but not overpowering. Was looking for a candle between Christmas and spring and this did the trick. It would be a good fall smell as well. Always love the crackling wood as well.
The candle smells great. We have may woodwick candles in our house and we love the crackling noise that it makes--they also give off a wonderful aroma. This one nearly burnt my house down. Im not sure what they used, but the flame got huge, took over the whole candle and would not blow out. When I got it to a sink to pour it out it was like it was make with oil and lit my sink up with flames. I do not recommend this scent at all!!
I am greatly disappointed. I wish I could score it no stars.This candle smelled nothing like spice or blackberry. It had a stale old house smell to it. I'd purchased spiced blackberry wax melts by another brand previously hoping this candle would be reminiscent of the wax melts. Not only did not have a hint of what I wanted, it didn't live up to it's name at all. It should have been called Old Musty Stale Cheap Plums or something. I wish I could get a refund. I will never purchase anything else from this company.
I never knew the perfect scent until I smelled Spiced Blackberry. Rarely does my fiance ever come to Yankee with me, but holy cow! He brought me here to pick out any candle I wanted and what would you know...he fell in love with this and was so proud of himself when I loved it too lol. I heard great things from my sister about the WoodWick in general so I wanted one anyway. THIS SCENT IS AMAZING. It's the perfect fall candle if you're sick of pumpkin spice or cinnamon or apple. It gives a perfume-y yet fresh smell.
