This yarn is super overhyped, and way too expensive for what you get. It tears easily in the middle of use. It's also not easy to work with- little bits shred off of it because of the single ply. Would not recommend. Go for something cheaper that will almost certainly be of better quality.

I adore this wool - I am onto my fourth scarf (two balls per scarf knitted in moss stitch) which have made fantastic gifts. I still have a blanket kit with the same wool to knit. It's soft, it smells amazing, it's lovely to knit with. Highly recommend.

The yarn is really expensive, like more than I ever dreamed I'd pay for yarn. However, it is insanely squishy and soft---I feel like I'm holding a big fluffy cloud or marshmallow. As a beginner, I was able to knit up a beautiful sweater very quickly. Because it's single strand roving yarn, I'm concerned that it will pill but honestly...I think I'm hooked on this yarn either way. It's absolutely gorgeous and I will definitely be purchasing from Wool and the Gang again.

Good yarn but it’s the typical wool complaints for me. Gets on my clothes, texture is delicate. But WATG is very expensive. Not in my budget

Colour is beautiful and accurate to what is shown on website, yarn is nice and soft BUT sheds like crazy. Like a lot more than normal. The loosest wool roving I've used so far and also the most expensive. This is my first time ordering from Wool and the Gang so not sure if it's just a bad batch.

I was So excited when my order of this yarn was delivered, to make hat for daughter.But unfortunately very disappointed in the yarn once I started working with it.It continuously shed & unraveled a bit all during knitting hat with it.Same when making the Pom Pom for top of hat.

Perfect for beginners and experienced knitters! The wool is soft, durable, doesn't splinter easily when knitting, and, with the proper care, looks great for years after you've finished weaving in your ends.

I absolutely love this yarn. I looked everywhere for a single ply chunky, and this is exactly what I wanted. I was also pleased to feel it be much softer to the touch than most wool yarns. The only thing that I was a bit sad about was the earthen orange. It looks to be a bright orange in the picture and in the YouTube video where it is used to make a scarf. That bright orange is what I was after, but true to it's name, it is more earthen. The brownish Terra Cotta color comes through. Still pretty, still using it, and I will be ordering the vitamin c cotton to get the brightness I am looking for, for my project. Overall, I am very pleased with Crazy Sexy Wool.

Misleading colour

Lovely quality wool but the colour is nowhere near pictured. Instead of a bright yellow, it is a much darker olive. I know it's in the name, but I wasn't expecting such a dark wool

Rather expensiveI don’t like the ‘Sexy’ word in the product title - not really ideal when buying for a 12 year old granddaughter.Otherwise a great wool to work with
