Bought the size 5 for my large just turned 3yo and although she’s a baggy fit as I expected, it still fits beautifully enough to keep him super warm all night and I know it will last him years before he grows out of it. My advice, size up! My boy is above 90th for height and weight as he’s broad and muscly. He would be about 17kg now

My daughter wore this for a month of winter, before it tore in the crotch. She doesn’t climb in the cot, so I don’t know how it happened, just ripped as we were zipping it up. We were so disappointed as have come to love Woolbabe products. Because the tear was quite significant, we didn’t want to wash the suit in case we made it worse… which meant we didn’t end up using it. Unfortunately we can’t even give it to someone secondhand, so essentially we wasted a lot of money. On a positive note, the fabric was lovely, it kept my daughter nice and warm, and sleepstore delivered very quickly.

I wish i had of known about these suits earlier. We live in a cold climate area and i had been using 3.5tog cotton suits which just weren't warm enough when the temp drops in the early hours. This suit keeps him lovely and snug and we have far fewer early starts now - phew!

These are the best winter sleeping bags, so soft and warm. My 2 year old loves them and sleeps so well in them. I found the new v2 fit, to be quite a big fit, on my petite 2 year old. We went from a size 1 in the v1, being tight to a size 2 in the v2, swimming on him. If we are lucky we might get 2 years out of it.
Love this sleep suit, keeps my son nice and warm all night. He's not a fan of blankets nor was he of a sleeping bag so we tried this and love it. He doesn't want to take it off each morning so that must be a good sign too.The fit is perfect for him, he's a average 2 year old and this size 2 is great with room to grow. The arm length is generous but we just fold the sleeves over which works fine.
Would be better if it had fold over cuffs for the feet to keep them warm (in the right size for us).Its a very small fit. My now 17 month old is in the size 3 and the warm part finishes at his shins with the cotton part covering the rest of the leg. Has to wear socks to keep his feet warm. Will only get 1 winter out of it because of the inaccurate sizing. Wish I got a size 4 but of course size 4 'seemed' way to big looking at the measurements when purchasing.
The sleepsuit is so good! My son adjusted well from the sleeping bag to the sleepsuit, its got plenty of room and I love the length in the arms and legs to keep him warm at night. He will also wear it for a while when he gets up in the mornings without a fuss, he refuses to wear a dressing gown, so just goes to show how comfortable he is in it and it keeps him a perfect temperature. Its nicely padded and not to heavy for a small child to be wearing. It is a definite must have for us and I have just purchased my second one to have on rotation throughout winter.
I love this sleep suit. It was expensive but we are glad we got it. My sons room sits between 14-16° overnight and we dont leave heaters on overnight. Love that it comes with a chart to say what can be worn underneath depending on room temp and that it comes with a free thermometer. This has been such a good buy. He wears it every night and we dont have to rush to take it off in the cold mornings because he can easily move around and play in it. Only thing for us is that it does seem a bit small. We got size 1yr-2yr. Our son is on the 94th % and has just turned , I dont think it will fit when he is 2.
It keeps our baby warm and I think he will sleep better in it (eventually) as he gets twisted around in the bags now that he's bigger and moves around a lot in his sleep.Plus it's adorable when he walks around the house in the suit. His big brothers get a lot of enjoyment out of how cute and "puffy" he looks :)I've usually bought the sleeveless options but am liking having the sleeves. Keeps things a bit simpler with just some nice merino layers underneath.
One of my best purchases! My baby kept kicking her blankets off in her sleep and I was constantly worried about her so I bought a Woolbabe Sleep Suit and she’s been warm every single night she’s worn it. Sometimes she even gets too hot and doesn’t need a blanket, just her Woolbabe, which makes me feel better at night knowing she’s always warm and cozy. She looks so cute in it. She struggles to move as freely in it when she wakes up but I think that might be cause of how thick it is. Fit is true to size
