Just right for a special dinner. The quality and flavour were fantastic. however, I hate the indiviual serves as packaging. Too much plastic waste. I would buy this for special birthday dinners though. It's a great cut of meat, very tender.

A quality steak. Wow, what a very generous sample! This Scotch Fillet was fabulous. A delicious cut, tender and full of flavour. I did look through the packs on the shelf to find one with minimal marbling but I had a few to choose from. I coloured this steak in a cast iron pan and then finished it in the oven with a little butter and garlic spooned over. Delicious. Even the packaging was easy to remove. Thank you again Woolworths for a very generous offer.

Absolutely Magnificent. At $17. 50 per pack, this Scotch Fillet Steak was Absolutely Magnificent. A beautiful 300gm Thick Cut Steak, that cooked superbly, and was flavoursome, juicy, and had that tenderness of a great steak that just melts in your mouth. Possibly the best piece of steak that I have eaten in ages, and very comparable with the Eye Fillet Steak under the same branding, except a little cheaper. I would definitely recommend, and rebuy for that special occasion, where quality is of the utmost importance. Thank you Buch for the beautiful sample.

Delicious. "A beautiful lump of meat' was how my husband described this steak, and he does enjoy a great piece of steak. I often buy the eye fillet steak from Woolies but he thought this had more flavour. Served it with some hot chips cooked in the air fryer and a simple salad of rocket, quartered Roma tomatoes, sliced avocado, caramelized balsamic dressing, shaved parmesan and toasted pine nuts. A truly delicious meal.

Nice tender steak. Packaging hard to open. Steak was very tender and tasty. Good marbling of fat throughout steak. It was a treat though as the price is a bit restrictive. Enjoyable meal.

Disappointed. I picked up 2 of these as a New Years Eve dinner as I had 1 to sample. I did everything I would usually do with a steak - out of fridge for 1 hour, oiled steak, pepper on steak, put in hot pan with butter for 10 seconds each side and then again until cooked medium rare. I served it with garlic mushrooms, blue cheese, broccolini and baked potatoes. We both found the steak to be really tasteless and nothing to write home about. The packaging was good - easy to just peel open and recycle the tray. For $15 per steak I would not buy again. I have just read other reviews on it and everyone else seems to have loved theirs so such a shame we didn't enjoy our one.

Tender Lean Product. My husband & I love a piece of scotch, cooked to a nice medium rare on the bbq. This product is nice & lean & quite tasty & tender when cooked correctly. Lovely served in summer with a salad, or just as good in winter with vegies. Goes great with a nice garlic bacon cream sauce. The only thing that we don't like about the product is the packaging. Can find it quite difficult to open. I do miss the instore butchers & having the butcher being able to cut the thickness I require.

Tasty and tender. I was fortunate to be the recipient of this product. This 300-gram steak was very thick, I thought it wouldn't be enough for the two of us but it was adequate. The steak was beautiful, tasty, and tender...... perfect. Any improvements? I would like it to have been free range and the packaging wasn't user-friendly as I couldn't remove the plastic covering from the cardboard tray, however despite this, it was a win for me. Would buy it again.

Pub Meal for One. Not too much you can make. Cook it on pan and side it with a garden salad with sliced avocado. If you want to be fancy you can make a mushroom or glace sauce. Add the usual accompany such as french fries, or wedges, or beer battered chips.

Great Quality. We buy virtually all of our meat from Woolworths as it’s always such great quality and well priced. This Scotch Fillet was no exception and delicious cooked medium rare! There is nothing like a home cooked steak…
