Tasty and Easy Dinner. I love to have quick and easy dinner ideas on hand for those busy nights. These are so easy, just put them in the oven and then serve with your favourite sides. They are processed so don’t taste like traditional chicken Kiev but they are very tasty. The herb and garlic butter inside is lovely. The aroma of it cooking was nice too. Reasonably priced for two people to enjoy as an easy dinner option. You would need several boxes for a family of four and more if any bigger. I like that these use RSPCA approved chicken and the ingredients are mainly Australian too. I would purchase these again to have available in the freezer.

Not for me :(. Easy to locate and recognize among all the other frozen chicken packets, nice bright packaging which was coated or lined so that it couldn't leak. Instructions were a little ambiguous in that 'Cook from frozen' could be interpreted as either 'do not thaw' and cook frozen or 'thaw' and cook so I did one of each. I didn't want to turn on my oven just to cook these so I used my copper based pan (with a lid) I didn't put any oil in it, over a moderate heat I turned the kiev every 10 to 15 minutes and I found it browned up beautifully and stayed crispy. The filling leaked out and the garlic aroma was deliciously inviting. This would probably cook up lovely in an air fryer. The filling leaked out and the garlic aroma was deliciously inviting. This would probably cook up lovely in an air fryer. Once cooked I cut it open to taste and found the central hollow, obviously from the escaping garlic herb butter, but thats ok it still tasted nice and garlicky and the herbs were still adhered to in the hollow. The crumb was delicious and the garlic nice and flavoursome but the chicken was 'rubbery', I likened it to the processed chicken meat generally used in making chicken nuggets. The thawed kiev took about 20 minutes only to cook, it didn't leak, it presented just as nicely as the frozen piece with a browned crunchy crumb, and when I cut it out oozed the lovely garlic herb butter as it should with a kiev. There was no difference in taste but the thawed one presented better on the plate. The chicken was not as 'rubbery' as the frozen cooked piece but it was still like an over processed chicken nugget to me. Both cooked pieces had a lovely crunchy crumb and were moist and full of flavour. Its a great price for a frozen meat dish however the chicken spoils it for me, I found it too processed for my liking. I got a bit excited when I read the packet saying breast and then slumped when I finished reading the blurb ... chopped and shaped .... 'nuff said. They may as well use cheaper cuts of chicken, because the binding and shaping process takes away from the image and texture of a lovely breast. Great source of protein, Australian product and RSPCA approved farming is all important and it does have pluses but I wouldn't buy this.

Tasty Chicken. This is a meal to have in the freezer when you don't have time or couldn't be bothered. Just add a Woolworths Salad Mix and that 's dinner. As it's only a two star health rating it's not something I would serve all the time. It's great that it is RSPCA approved. $5 per box is a good price. The box says two servings, but my family are big eaters so two Kievs per person. The only criticism is that all the lovely herb and garlic sauce leaked out even though kiev had not broken. I had to serve some of it on the side. I will buy this in the future for an emergency dinner. Thanks Bunch.

Convenient and yummy! Gotta admit, I’ve always been a fan of Chicken Kiev’s, and these ones weren’t too bad!Easy to prepare, just stick them in the oven for 35 minutes, and they come out piping hot, golden brown, and full of yummy goodness! Yeah, it’s processed chicken, but they’re handy to keep in the freezer for a lazy meal, the flavours are good, and the filling oozes out when you cut into the Kiev. Probably not a great meal if you’re watching your calories, but I’m not, so I love them! :-)Would definitely purchase again for convenience and enjoyment. To save time, chuck them in the airfryer and you’ll save at least 10 minutes.

Convenient. My teen son tried these for me. He was quite surprised to find that there were two Kiev's in the box, but they were not in a plastic bag inside the box just as they were. He is not a cook at all. So this was a great easy option for him to cook for his tea independently. He found the instructions on the box easy to follow and was quite impressed by the way they browned up and tasted. He definitely said this is a product he would purchase again. However, to feed him and others we would need multiple packs as there are only two in each pack.

Great Value. Was a bit hesitant about being mashed chicken (and 2 stars) but glad they use real chicken breast. Chicken was very moist and overall very tasty with the garlic and herb butter - the garlic wasn’t too overpowering. Perfect portion size. I served ours with vegetables - needless to say the veges were eaten first to save the Kiev till last. I followed the instructions and lightly oiled the tray though wished had turned once mid way as the bottom was a little more crispy than the top. If I had to say anything negative, was that there wasn’t as much garlic/ herb butter when you cut open (not quite like the picture) as I expected. Other than that - super delicious, a winner in my household. Price point was great at just $2. 50 a serve. Would definitely buy again.

Unimpressed. My first impression from the packaging was a nice juicy chicken with a tasty stuffing. On bringing the Kiev out of the oven the immediate observation was the pool of oil/butter - mmm! Not a good look. Sadly the taste, consistency and overall satisfaction were low. The chicken consistency and taste was similar to the pressed and processed deli chicken roll and was unimpressive. The pool of butter was overpowering and didn’t leave my palate feeling fresh. nice to sample but won’t be returning to the freezer cabinet for this one.

Wonderful, convenient, frozen meal option. I was truly impressed with this Chicken Kiev. It did take 40 minutes to cook in the oven but I was in no hurry. Happened to be home alone this evening and was wondering what to cook for myself. The Kiev made a wonderful choice. Chicken was soft and tender and tasted like real chicken, filling melted well and flavoured the crumb as well which was a delicious albeit a bit too salty for my taste. I was very impressed with the product on the whole, a convenient frozen meal option and its also good value for money.

Quite enjoyable. Although it said cook from frozen, I'm not a lover of doing that so I did let them thaw out before putting them in the oven at the required temperature. I noticed that the filling did leak out onto the silicon mat so there wasn't too much left of it when I put them out on the plate. The flavour was still there which was very nice but I would have loved all the garlicky butter to have come flowing out when I cut it. Instead, all we had was a hollow going all the way through the chicken. The chicken itself was tasty, however, it did have that processed look and texture about it, not like eating "real" chicken breast. It felt more like we were eating a huge chicken nugget. All in all, we did enjoy them and they would be a convenient addition to the freezer, however, I think I would prefer to make my own unless I was feeling very lazy. Thank you so much to The Bunch for the opportunity in sampling this product.

Excellent product. My husband and I love the these. We understand the chicken is more 'processed' than some other brands but we prefer these as they don't have the bone. We usually accompany these with some fresh greens and rice which sucks up all that garlicky goodness that oozes out on opening. That garlic flavour is strong without being overpowering, the chicken is juicy and the thin crumb coat keeps things lightThese Kyivs (or Kievs) are easy to find in the freezer section and exceptionally well priced ($5). I will continue to purchase this product and wont hesitate in recommending them to others
