Healthy sandwich. Normally I choose wholemeal sandwich because of it's a healthy alternative to white bread but not really a big fan of it because the wholemeal version is often drier and harder than the white bread. Not with the Woolworths CountryLoaf Wholemeal. It was softer and nicer than other brands'. Now I can eat healthier bread without a big sacrifice of taste.

I found some minor difficulty in trying to source this sample as I later learned that my local Woolworths store only carry two of this product on a daily basis (yes, there is only ever two of this on the shelves). There are other similar bread loaves of this type, but they are made from other ingredient like wholemeal. My best tip would be to come in early in the morning when Woolworths just open (if you can) as otherwise if you arrive in the late afternoon, there seemed to be none left of this white bread variety (suprisingly the wholemeal variety don't seemed to be sold out). Tasted great, soft but also meaningfully filling when consumed. Price is quite reasonable, which is in the middle being more expensive than the standard white bread loaf but cheaper than the likes of Helga's. Highly recommended product :)

Perfect for toast. We really enjoyed this 'country loaf' toasted, it is a thicker cut than the usual sandwich loaf and a little more dense. It had a very nice taste. But I wouldn't use it for sandwiches as it was a little bit too thick and slightly dry. It is competitively priced at $3 for packaged bread. I found this bread on the top shelf in a small area with only a few loaves in stock. Easy to miss! But now that I have tried it, I would definitely buy in preference to the more expensive brands.

Thick, dense & Soft Rustic Bread. Well, this afternoon whilst all kids were in their room I made myself a great snack with this slice of bread with butter and honey. OMG, it was enjoyable indeed with this thick soft bread. It was quite nice and I ended up having 2 more slices just because it was so good. Am buying this bread from now on. Overall, great in making a good corned beef sandwich tomorrow.

Yummy lunch. Straight after collecting this bread I went home and had a roast pork sandwich. It was delicious. The bread is as the packaging states, soft and smooth. I like that it is slightly thicker than normal slices and the floury crust give it a fresh baked feel. The price is OK when I compare to other brands. Made with Australian wheat, tick. Whilst I usually opt for Wholemeal/grain breads, I most likely would indulge in this one from time to time. I feel this is more a bread for adult consumption. I don't think little kiddies need to consume anything beyond the thinner sliced brands. Lets just say, I would keep this for my purposes if I had children. Overall, I like the product and that it is a WW brand.

Not a whole meal fan. I purchased this bread, and even though I don’t really like the whole meal variety, my daughter and grand daughter always eat whole meal. I prefer white or grain personally. My other family members enjoyed the texture and taste. It will be eaten and enjoyed. We do buy Woolworths whole meal, but usually the cheapest brands.

Just OK. Excited to get a whole loaf of white bread for free!It looked nice and felt soft. Made sure the checkout packer put it on top!Was really looking forward to sampling and especially because it was white bread which doesn’t often get carried over the threshold in this house. It’s usually all about being brown and having fibre etc. Anyway, was quite disappointed. The texture was dry. White bread has to be soft and never dry!And way too much sugar. Also the thickness of the slices are more like toast thickness. Too thick. Prefer the sandwich thickness. Thanks for the sample. Don’t mean to be ungrateful. After all it was a free loaf of bread. But I wouldn’t buy it. Mainly because it’s dry and too sweet and the slices are way too thick for sandwiches.

Great bread, great price. This has been a staple in my house for a couple of years now. They price is so good when you compare to other similar looking breads. The bread itself is delicious. Great size slices. Good thickness for sandwiches and toast. Only complaint is it’s often hard to get in some stores. Sells quickly. Make more woollies!
