Woolworths Country Loaf Wholegrain 850g
30-day returns

Didn't go stale in a week. I picked up a loaf of Woolworths 6 Grain & Rustic Country Wholegrain 850g at the Mona Vale store on 8 June. My partner and I tried it after we got home and it was delicious. But we don't eat much bread so we had some every day over the following week. My partner prefers toast but I tried the fresh bread on day six and was surprised to find it still tasted fresh, especially as some Turkish bread we had bought at the same time as the grain bread, had started show mould. Today is exactly one week since we bought it and although I did toast the bread for sandwiches I noticed it had no trace of mould. If you like multi-grain bread then you should try this.

Surprisingly good quality bread. I have always bought the premium breads because I thought they were better. How wrong was I! This $2. 50 loaf is just as good as the premium brands. It seems to be very popular too because there were only two loafs left on the shelf when I went to get it. After three days, it is still very soft. The size and thickness of each slice is perfect. Turns out great when toasted too. I will definitely buy this again.

Light, bouncy but grainy and satisfying bread. This bread has a delightfully light and bouncy texture but it is still satisfying and with the goodness of grain. Very well priced too at $2. 50. I had mine today with just Flora and sliced turkey from the Deli but it could go equally well with a variety of cheese and salad especially avocado, fresh or toasted. Should the customer be wanting a heavier grain content this would not really be the bread for them but for a cheerful weekend lunch I found it to be just right. Children would especially like the light as a feather texture while their parents could be sure that they were also having some grain.

Substantial. This bread is quite heavy and really filling, which is great for our blood glucose levels. I find it is best toasted, which holds any toppings well. My absolute favourite bread is a pumkin seed version of another brand, but this one holds up as a great alternative. My Dad also likes it, so have started buying it for him as well. A good, healthy product, thanks.
Popular. I was a bit worried whether my visiting 14 year old grandson would eat this bread as most of our grandkids will only eat white bread. He just loved it though, as did hubby and myself. I was buying the Helgas wholemeal multi grain but it is difficult to find these days. I will definitely be buying Woolworths 6 Grain & Rustic Country Wholegrain whenever I shop at Woolies from now on. The price is right, it is great for sandwiches, toasties, toast and French toast, plus it has all the goodness I want in it.
Fresh: baked right there, then packaged. My local woolworths has a bakery section (with a baker wearing a plastic cap), so Woolies bread is probably baked there and packaged. With other bakery products, they put them out when they are warm... then they get snapped up! Woolies bread has such a high turnover rate, so it is very fresh, and they keep making more. I like that this is hearty and full of grains and has that good fresh bread smell (that you don't take for granted because some brand name bread doesn't as they sit there on the shelf for a bit). I like the price point of Woolies breads compared to other brands too!
Great taste. Loved this bread! It had a great taste and the grains were nice and soft, not hard like some other brands. The slices are a decent size as hubby loves his work sandwiches. I found that I only needed one slice for breakfast as it was quite filling. This means the loaf will be very good value in our house and last a little longer. I am always looking for products that can incorporate Australian produce and delighted that Woolworth's used Aussie Wheat. Definitely recommending this and buying again.
Fresh, soft and tasty! A very yummy supermarket bread. Have been looking for it for a while. It always sells out at my local Woolies store (perhaps an indication of how great this bread actually tastes!). It's very fresh and soft. I love the healthy mix of the 6 grains. The bread is large, with thickly-cut, rustic slices. It can be kept in the freezer, which is always handy. At $2. 50 for 850g, this grainy loaf it a bargain!I made a gourmet sandwich with some sliced chicken breast, camembert cheese, butter lettuce, truss tomato and egg mayonnaise.
As good as any other. A great multigrain bread option, that is affordable without compromising quality. This bread is nice and soft, stays fresh for a couple of days and also freezes perfectly. My family uses this loaf for both toast and sandwiches. It is a nice large size, almost perfectly square (which is a plus) and the grains are plentiful. I honestly can see no difference between this loaf and the leading brands alternatives. I have gone from only buying Helgas and Abbots Village to exclusively buying this Woolworths branded bread. Highly recommend.
What about the SESAME seed!!!! Allergen Alert! This is a lovely loaf of bread. Totally enjoyed it. My husband brought it home from the supermarket this morning. I normally bake my own and this bread is just as nice. I looked up the information here on the review site so that I might let everyone know how good it is. The ingredient section states that the bread may contain LUPINS, the information fails to acknowledge that this bread also may contain SESAME! My daughter is anaphylactic to even a hint of sesame. Best to check the product bag before purchasing, maybe someone could have a look at this product description and make an edit for safety reasons.
