Great product. My hubby is allergic to tomatoes. Which i love. So I loved getting this. I stewed them up with diced onion herbs and garlic and froze then in 4 amounts so i could enjoy them at will. First lot I used as a side dish with snitzel and veggies. 2nd lot I put over some pasta for my lunch. 2 more to go. Than you. Great product. Love that it is Aussie!

Great price for an Australian product. Canned tomatoes are a staple in my household, as I like to use them for bolognaise, soups, stews to name a few. I was very pleased to receive this sample and made a hearty lentil curry soup which consisted of dried lentils, mixed bag of frozen vegetables, canned tomato, curry powder, coconut milk and some vegetable stock. I simmered this until lentils were soft. The canned tomatoes worked wonderfully in this recipe and my soup was super filling, flavoursome and substantial. I would be happy to purchase this sample

Australian tomatoes. I used to use these all of the time, however I stopped when I realised that there are other options available without any additives. The ingredients of these are Diced Tomatoes (60%), Tomato Puree (39%), Acidity Regulator (Citric Acid), Firming Agent (Calcium Chloride). It's great to see they are a product of Australia though, which is why these were my top pick previously. A great price and handy tin. Always easy to find.

Good Australian Tomatoes in a Can. Australian Diced Tomatoes front and centre on the label and proudly displaying Product of Australia with the kangaroo in the green triangle. This 400gram can contains 60% Diced Tomatoes and 39% Tomato Puree and with Citric Acid (preserves colour) and Calcium Choride (firming agent) making up 1%. There were very few diced tomato pieces in the thick tomatoey puree, which was fine for the bean dish it was being added to. Great tomato flavour but if you are expecting chunkier pieces you may be disappointed, one star off for that. There are No Artificial Colours, Flavours or Preservatives, a 4. 5 HSR, and Sodium of 30mg meant I did not add salt to the dish. Good value at $1 for 400grams and a regular buy for me. Perfect pizza sauce! I used these crushed tomatoes as a pizza sauce. My pizza was really delicious! The tinned tomatoes are full of goodness and wonderful flavour. This home-branded product would definitely taste great in pasta dishes (spaghetti marinara anyone?). These crushed tomatoes are Australian-made. By making this purchase, we're supporting Aussie farmers and consuming beautiful fresh produce that's locally-grown. These home-branded crushed tomatoes are great for your family budget. There's no need to pay more for the more expensive alternatives. I like the green and red label on the tin (it signifies the contents inside!). I love the convenience of the pull-top ring. There's no need to struggle with a hard-to-use can opener!I will buy this product again, and ... MorePerfect pizza sauce! I used these crushed tomatoes as a pizza sauce. Nice n thick. I always have tinned tomatoes in the pantry and recently had the opportunity to compare these Woolworths Australian diced tomatoes with the no added salt version. Both were great but I did find these to be rich and thick and full of flavour, no blemished pieces though the chunks of tomato were softer/mushier than in the salt reduced tin. I really wouldn't hesitate to repurchase these and for the price of $1. 00 a tin you really can't go wrong. I have bought cheaper but have had to add extras to adjust acidity, so I was happy that I didn't need to add any sugar to these when making my bolognaise sauce. Nice balance of flavour and value.

Thanks for having Australian diced tomatoes Woolworths. A very useful ingredient for so much cooking and we had previously stopped buying because a lot of similar products came from China. Thank you Woolworths for having this useful tasty Australian product available to buy.

Cheap and versatile. I used this can to bulk out a tomato-based sauce when cooking spinach and ricotta cannelloni. Strong tomato flavour and nice big chunks. I liked that it's an Australian product and being Woolworths brand, the cost is cheaper than name brands. Will purchase again.

Pantry staple. I love these tomatoes. I always have them in my pantry. Priced well rich in flavour. So many uses for them. I especially like that they are Australian tomatoes. No added nasties, and are equivalent to 1 serve of veg in the tin. “ a tin full of nature goodness” they also come in a no added salt tin for those who are watching their salt intake.

GOOD PRODUCT. I use canned tomatoes frequently. I only ever buy when on special, or the 800 gram tin for better valueThese are as good as others, but I never pay $1 per can. Don't see why they should be dearer than the W/W Diced Italian tomatoes, and quite often the Italian ones are better and richer flavour depending on the brand, other than purely to support "Australian". Very grateful for the sample as a comparison. Thanks
