Very strong scent. I had no idea that vinegar came in different strengths until this sample. The scent is very strong like opening a tasty packet of S&V chips. After seeing all the reviews about cleaning, I tried it on our grottiest household item, my son’s high chair straps. If you know, you know! He’d had baked beans & chili the day before so the white straps had lovely red grime on them. I diluted the vinegar and used it plus some detergent with a cloth and toothbrush. It came up much better than before. I also cleaned my bathroom basin and found the smell to be not too overpowering when diluted. The price was good and I’ve recommended it to a friend who also battles the highchair straps. We haven’t used it for it’s intended purpose (being consumed) yet but my ... MoreVery strong scent. Vinegar - Used for many purposes. I use vinegar for cleaning and cooking. I also utilize it when cleaning water containers for our poultry and live stock on our property. I use white vinegar in the bathrooms and laundry extensively during cleaning processes, and on tile floors in family living area and kitchen, in some cooking recipes and to keep green algae under control in large and small water vessels for live stock. In addition to cleaning water vessels with the vinegar, I add it to the drinking water, in particular for the poultry, to aid in digestion. After vacuuming my expanse of living area and kitchen I poured neat the double strength vinegar on the floor, concentrating on partilcular soiled spots, going over with my steamer mop. I did not use on salads neat, but did make a sweet and sour onion dish that was added to a large salad, which tasted as it should. I certainly do use quite a lot of vinegar so the opportunity to receive a bottle of the Woolworths double strength was appreciated.

Double the strength. This is great vinegar and with double the strength it cleaned so well. I use normal vinegar a lot in cleaning, particularly my windows and any where that gets a little damp. So tried this product and it worked so well. I have to admit I never thought to try the double strength before as the normal generally does the job but I was impressed with it. I haven’t tried it for pickling but the bottle says it works well. I may try some for pickled onions on our burgers next week. This is a product of Australia (no other information provided). Naturally fermented. Bottle is able to be recycled with cap in place. Contains 8% acidity but I couldn’t see the percentages on the normal home brand vinegar to compare. Overall a good product for a good price. ... MoreDouble the strength. This is great vinegar and with double the strength it cleaned so well. Double strength vinegar. I have never seen or heard of this double strength vinegar before. I purchase the regular vinegar for my cooking needs, and cleaning vinegar for cleaning around the house. I believe cleaning vinegar is stronger than cooking vinegar, but what comparison it is to this double strength variety I confess I am ignorant. As it was double strength, I searched through the cleaning isles with no luck. Was very surprised to find it amongst other cooking vinegar. I have tried it in respects to cleaning and given its price and a great outcome, I will be purchasing this in future. I do on occasion pickle my own vegetables and will most certainly use this product. Not sure about using in salad dressings etc though, but time will tell once I learn more ... MoreDouble strength vinegar. I have never seen or heard of this double strength vinegar before. The label is very basic. Be good if it stated ratio compared to regular white cooking vinegar. Thankyou for this wonderful opportunity

Great value as you only need half of it! whilst it is slightly more expensive than the standard one ($1. 4 for 1L VS $2. 2 for 2L). However, given it is double strength, you only need half of what you normally need. I find it does have a stronger smell and taste. I have made another batch of citrus cleaner that I published on bunch a while back. I am happy with the result as it is more concentrated than the one I made with normal vinegar. Better value so am happy with another small way of saving money. Another way I use this product is to substitute fabric softener with 1/4 cup of vinegar + few drops of essential oil when I do my laundry. Good thing about it is you can use different essential oil each time when you do your laundry instead of the same fragrance if ... MoreGreat value as you only need half of it! whilst it is slightly more expensive than the standard one ($1. 4 for 1L VS $2. 2 for 2L). Pending on what I feel like, I have tried lemon, lavender, clove, frankincense and jasmine. My clothes have never smell that fresh and delicious (!) Thanks bunch!

Great for Cleaning & Nice on Hot Chips. Just like a lot of the other Bunchies on here have mentioned - I did not know you could get double strength vinegar!! This is a good product. It is double strength so you don't need to use as much. It's good to always keep a bottle in the cupboard so that you have it on hand when needed. This sample came at a very good time as I had a blocked drain in the kitchen this week so I thought I would try the old vinegar and bicarbonate of soda trick to help clear it out. Using the double strength vinegar definitely worked better than using just the ordinary vinegar. It is high powered and has much more cutting action. It saved having to call out a plumber so I'm very grateful. This also works really nicely on fish and chips. We had ... MoreGreat for Cleaning & Nice on Hot Chips. We had that for dinner last night and putting a light sprinkle of Woolies double strength vinegar on our meals definitely gave our dinner a bit of extra zing! Loved it!!

Double the strength, double the stench. When I received this sample in my inbox I wasn’t sure if I wanted to accept it as we don’t use vinegar in our cooking. So I was perusing to see what else people use it for. I thought you could use it for cleaning and thankfully most people have said that’s what they’re doing. It sounds way too strong for cooking! So I accepted it with the intention of doing some cleaning!I had bought Woolies essentials vinegar when I last needed vinegar to help colour some Easter eggs as we didn’t have any in the house. That shows how infrequently we use vinegar in our house I compared the two bottles and thought vinegar was vinegar and smelt like vinegar. But like others have mentioned, this “double strength” vinegar certainly smells like it when you open the lid. Thanks to @goldensunshine for their tip. Poured some of it down my kitchen sink and left it as long as I could without rinsing. Had to do it two times to see any results. The kitchen reeked of vinegar while it was sitting in the drain but I soon got used to it. Will probably have to use it a few more times to see better results. Looking forward to trying it out for other cleaning hacks around the house like fabric softener, to clean the inside of the microwave, clean the washing machine and the list goes on. Product of Australia Recyclable bottle and cap ♻️Usually priced at $2. 20 for 2L, I can’t say that I will need to buy any more that soon considering I still have a bottle of the regular strength vinegar too

Hard to find in store, finally found with the fruit & veges. After looking each week for this sample and finding an empty shelf marked with a price tag in the aisle with the other brands of vinegar, I finally found it by accident located at the end of an aisle in the fruit and vegetable section, beside the oranges and apples. There was a large pallet display located there even though the shelf was empty where one would expect to find it. I was happy to receive this sample as I regularly buy vinegar for culinary use as well as cleaning. I have also recently used it as a conditioner in the washing machine. At $2. 20 for 2 litres of double strength, it is good value. A product of Australia and the bottle and cap can be recycled. Fantastic! We use vinegar a lot, so I was interested to try the double strength version. The vinegar was easy to find in the condiments aisle, with the other vinegars, salad dressings, etc (although there were only 2 bottles when I collected my sample). At $2. 20 for 2 litres, the price is great. I use vinegar for cleaning all glass around the house - usually a 50 / 50 solution with water in a spray bottle and I also add a cup to the bucket with the floor cleaner when mopping the tiles (we have lots of tiles in our home, only the bedrooms are carpeted). As this product is double strength, I just used half of what I would normally use in my applications. This vinegar is very versatile for cleaning and cooking. Product of Australia. BRUSH AND FLUSH!! This product is certainly new, and I had a hard time tracking it down, as it was not available at my regular Woolworths store but available at a nearby Woolies. Although this double-strength vinegar is ideal for cooking and pickling, it is also useful for all those difficult cleaning chores around the house, especially those stains that are hard to lift. So, my decision is to reserve this vinegar specifically for household cleaning. My immediate project was to see what I could accomplish by testing this product for the removal of build-up brown sludge at the base of the bathroom toilet.
