Served this with scallops, chips and Woolworths tartare sauce for Good Friday. Followed the instructions on the box however it took longer than the recommended 20 minutes, but this could be my oven. The crumb was tasty and crispy with real pieces of flakey fish. However, I did find that there was more crumb than fish . The pieces were also inconsistent in size but overall still a quick, tasty and convenient meal to have in the freezer. $11 per 1kg box. Affordable tasty and quick meal. Would buy again. Thank you for the sample.

Crumbed Fish Fillets 1kg. The kids have enjoyed these as part of our occasional “can’t-be-bothered-much” meal survival kit. They have a good crisp crumb (essential for successful re-purchase) when cooked and they are flexible to use as-is on the plate or in a burger. They can also be sliced to use in a fish taco or wrap. These are easy to bake along with some chips or hashbrowns and serve with a fresh salad. Dinner done. Love them. Love the pack having three alternative dinner ideas on the back, with illustrations, for those slow-thinking days. Inspiration for parents is always appreciated. Only 40% local ingredients, though. The fish is listed as Alaskan Pollock or NZ Hoki (sustainably sourced) – nice to know. A survival staple, although I would not vouch on the ... MoreCrumbed Fish Fillets 1kg. Delicious staple for the household! I purchase these crumbed fillets all the time - so was very happy to receive this as a sample. As this pack is large, I am able to serve it over two dinners. First one was a classic fish and chips with tartare and lemon. Second is baking this fish and covering this with a sweet corn topping on rice. This is a classic Hong Kong dish which is very comforting throughout the colder nights. My kids felt this was a great treat! This pack is great value, fish is delicious, the crumb is fantastic. Easy to cook in my air fryer - I would definitely be purchasing this again!
Easy dinner. Very convenient to have in the freezer and I was lucky enough to be gifted 3 packets of fish just before Easter. This was a 1kg pack of 14 smallish fish fillets, crumbed - so 7 serves at a cost of $10. Pretty good value. They tasted great, not at all oily. I cooked them in my air fryer (approx 12 minutes for a nice crunchy coating) though the packet says can be oven cooked or pan fried. I served with mashed potato and some steamed vegies and was very happy with the result. Packed in Australia, the fish is either Alaskan Pollock or New Zealand Hoki according to the box, so I'm not sure which mine was. Everyone from the little kids to the oldies in the family enjoyed them.
Crunchy Crumbed Fish Fillets. I’ve never tried the WW sample box of frozen Crumbed Fish Fillets before now. I followed the oven bake cooking instructions and after 20 minutes the fish fillets were very hot and had a lovely crunchy crumbed texture. Definitely a step up from the old fish fingers we had years ago. On the back of the box there are three serving suggestions with photos. I served the crumbed fish with lemon wedges, chips, salad and tartare sauce although I also liked the other ideas to serve with mixed vegetables or in a wrap. The ingredients advise that the white fish is either 51% Alaskan Pollock or New Zealand Hoki packed in Australia from at least 40% Australian ingredients and the best before date is in almost 12 months time. A convenient frozen box of fish fillets to have in your freezer when time is not on your side. Thanks for the opportunity to review this product.
Okay. I was happy to receive this sample as we eat a lot of fish, usually fresh fish! This was easy to spot in the freezer, and this is $11. 00 for 14 pieces. So I followed the directions and placed in the oven for 20 minutes, turning halfway. Fish is is cooked nice and brown and all puffed up!Now there are 3 serving suggestions on the box, MIXED VEGETABLES, CHIPS & SALAD or WRAP it UP, I had mine with steamed veggies. And Mr M, had Brussel sprout bake and potato salad. This is 4 star ⭐️HSR! This is packed in Australia from at least 40% Australian ingredients. Fantastic Frozen Fish Fillets. Thank you for the generous 1kg Bunch sample, which was easy easy to locate in the freezer section. Just in time to enjoy this well priced product for my muscle meatless Easter Friday dinner. The generously crumbed fillets were decent sized portions which baked perfectly in my kitchentop airfryer @200C for 10 min. Fillets were very tasty and flavoursome without an overly fishy aftertaste, and the fish flake texture was firm enough to make for a most enjoyable masticatory mouthfeel. As a matter of fact they were so irresistable that I couldn't just stop at 2 fillets and enjoyed rest as fishburgers. . . My Honeybear called the fish burgers. . ha ha, a ''quarter flounder with cheese'' ! !. . even though non Australian sourced, I was happy ... MoreFantastic Frozen Fish Fillets. Great value! One of the standout features of this product is the deliciously crispy crumb coating. We've also found that the fish is incredibly versatile – we've enjoyed them as-is on a plate or in a burger, warps and tacos. What's more, these are incredibly easy to prepare. They're perfect for those days when we need a quick and convenient meal option, and they pair perfectly with some chips and a quick salad. Dinner is done in a snap! The package even includes three alternative dinner ideas on the back. While it's worth noting that only 40% of the ingredients are sourced locally, most likely just the crumbs. We do appreciate that the fish is sustainably sourced but would normally prefer wild caught over the fishery. I would also like to know exactly what fish I'm ... MoreGreat value! It's a tasty and convenient option.
Quick easy meal. These fish fillets are a permanent staple in my freezer. Sometimes I buy the battered ones but mostly I have the ones that are crumbed. The sample is a 1kg box but you can buy them in a smaller size as well if you just want to try them first. There are 14 pieces of fish and each is a decent size. I find one is enough for me but for most people probably 2 fillets would be a reasonable meal. They are a very good price at $11 which works out to about $1. 60 meal for 2 pieces. They go very well with either a side salad and chips or with some vegies or even in a wrap for a quick meal. They don't take long to prepare so something quick and easy on those nights where you don't want to be stuck in the kitchen cooking. They come with a product guarantee so ... MoreQuick easy meal. No artificial colours or flavours and they have a 4 star rating. They are packed in Australia but with only 40% Australian product which is disappointing. The box is recyclable. So I will be continuing to buy these as I always have for the price they are a lot cheaper than a lot of the name brands and I find them just as good. We all need fish in our diets as they are a great source of Omega 3.
