I'm in love. The soft but firm pastry, the slow caress of fruit meets spice. One bite, it's never enough. Why are you so good, but so bad for me? why are you not available all year round? Why must I wait for you, yearn for you, pine for you?if it's not clear, these mince pies were amazing, I love them and if permitted by the members of my household, i will be stocking up for winter, like the squirrel on ice age does with the nuts. highly recommend, but please save some for me. I need them, they are my weakness

Can it be Christmas without Fruit Mince Pies? I don't normally eat mince pies, I'm not sure why maybe I can't associate in my brain the words fruit and mince because mince is meat and fruit is obviously fruit even though I understand why they are called a fruit mince pies, silly brain so I thought that I would get over myself and try them. I found the Woolworths Fruit Mince Pies quite nice with a nice pastry and infused fruits but they the taste even better when you warm them up and serve them with the usual naughty but nice foods cream, custard and ice cream. The added benefit of warming them in the oven is that a nice smell fills up the room and reminds me of Christmas mornings when I was young and full of excitement that the day was going to bring. Fruit Mince Pie. I was excited to try this sample. We had them straight from the box for afternoon tea. Like others have said, the pastry seams undercooked and sticks to the plastic packaging. Overall I enjoyed them especially the fruit mince filling. It reminded me of the Arnotts Spicy Fruitroll biscuits. Not overly sweet. They would be lovely heated and served with cream or icecream

Sorry - this is torture! I have never been a fan of fruit mince pies. I tried some last year and they tasted better than this years batch. I felt tortured trying this product. I felt like I was tasting rum infused Nu-lax... it smells like Nu-lax, minus the rum smell, and it tasted heavily like Nu-lax. This is a big no no for me... plus, the price is far too expensive! Who pays that much for fruit mince pies? This product was pure torture for me!

Christmas snack! I normally don’t buy mince pies in September preferring to wait until at least December. Even then I usually make my own for Christmas Day with home made fruit mince. I found the pastry in these rather tasteless, however they were cram packed full with fruit filling which was just sweet enough and tasted nice. The packaging is appealing but with another variety, the mixed berry mince pies, in the same style box I almost picked up the wrong sample. The price is reasonable in comparison with other specialty mince pies and they are attractive having at least 85% Australian ingredients. if I’m honest, and if I buy mince pies, I am more than happy with the cheaper Woolworths Fruit Mince Pies Lattice 6 pack. Surprisingly good. I should premise this review with the fact that my wife and I historically have not been fans of fruit mince pies. However, we both quite enjoyed these. I found the pastry a bit dense but the fruit mince had a nice texture (no large pieces of peel) and the flavour was pleasant (not too sweet). We stored them in the fridge after opening them and then microwaved them the next night to take the chill off them. We both felt they were more enjoyable after being warmed a little. This was last week's sample and this week I got the mixed berry fruit mince pies so I'm keen to try those and see how they compare.

Rich and fruity. These mince pies are packed full of fruit giving them a delicious fruity flavour. The pastry is crispy and buttery. The size is great and quite substantial. Shared them with the family for afternoon tea and everyone enjoyed them. I will definitely purchase again! For Christmas a dusting of icing sugar would make them more festive and Christmassy!

Festive Pies. What a lovely and seasonal sample from Bunch. Love how Christmas festive treats are available way before even Halloween is over. It simply means we have more time to enjoy 'em festive goodies before the real Christmas indulgence begin. These mince pies are pretty good. Sweet and encased in nice flakey pastry. Tastes better when warmed up in the airfryer for a few mins on low. Pairs well with a cuppa. I would think they go well with vanilla ice cream too. It's a 6 pack, so there are plenty more pies to try with ice cream. Attractive packaging too, I would add the pies to a Christmas hamper.

Nothing special. I love Christmas fruit mince pies. I normally buy the budget ones but this year even the budget ones are expensive so I treated myself to these luxury one. I didn't like them. The pastry was bland and not a nice texture - I was expecting buttery, or short. The fruit filling was very (too) sweet and could not taste the alcohol in them at all. Will definitely not be buying these again. They are no better than the budget version. Coles luxury brand are nice this year - buttery, short pastry and can taste the alcohol in the filling.

Fruity fruit mince pies. I love fruit mince pies - and no, it doesn't need to be Christmas to eat these. These are good. Good amount of fruit inside. The pastry is nice - some were rolled to the right thickness, some were a little thinner. But still tasty. Can be eaten as is, or warmed and topped with your favourite topping - ice cream, cream or even a little custard. I would purchase these again
