Flat. Found in the soft drink isle for $1. 20Made In Australia with at least 99% Australian ingredients. No artificial colours or flavours and suitable for vegetarians and vegans. Bottle and cap both recyclableAs I don’t drink soft drinks I gifted this to my daughter and they opened it as a treat for my grandsons birthday. Sadly it wasn’t enjoyable as they were excitedly hoping. Once opened they could detect the spicy aroma of the ginger, one loved the taste though the birthday boy found it too spicy with no fizz. My daughter tried it and found it was too flat, with a subtle ginger taste but also very, very sweet. This will not be a repurchase for my daughter as they don’t drink soft drinks but even as a treat this doesn’t tick the right boxes for them.

FOR THOSE WITH A SWEET TOOTH. I had to drink this ginger beer with sparkling mineral water as I do not drink beverages with 24g of sugar per serve. I added a squirt of bitters and slice of lemon and it turned out as a ginger lemon bitters which the family and I all loved. In this day and age I think manufactures should start to lower the sugar content of their carbonated drinks. Looking at the ingredients of this product I can't imagine how it even got a. 5 star health rating. I never recommend carbonated sugar drinks so I won't be grabbing this off the shelf again. Good to see that's it's made in Australia!!

Ginger fizz. I haven’t had ginger beer for years, so was pleased to receive this sample, and even more pleased when I opened it and found it was delicious. There was an impressive amount of fizz when the bottle was opened, and a slight scent of ginger. The flavour is really good, gingery and refreshing. This will now be my go to fizzy drink to keep in the fridge and in the pantry. I know there are other brand name versions of ginger beer, but I won’t be trying them, this one is 88c a litre, less than half the price of the cheapest opposition, and suits me well. The health rating is only 0. 5, much the same as other sugary carbonated drinks. Consume in moderation.

It's Okay. This is a 1. 25L bottle of Ginger Beer. No artificial colours or flavours & has a 0. 5 health ⭐ rating. Well first thing I noticed was this product is made in Australia from at least 99% Australian ingredients!! YAY!!! ⭐With a 0. 5 health ⭐ rating this is not something you'd drink on a daily basis, it's definitely a 'treat'. As soon as you open the lid there are bubbles & a distinct ginger smell. I absolutely love ginger & love the smell of ginger. It has a nice refreshing spicy ginger taste, nothing overpowering just subtle. Because I'm a lover of ginger I'd prefer the taste to be a little stronger. It does contain a lot of sugar which I didn't like as I don't use any sugar normally, however unless it's sugar free it's going to be full of sugar. It's not ... MoreIt's Okay. Value for money, pleasant tasting. Easy to find in store, packaging stands out, taste is pleasant yet subtle. Good value for money. Nice as a drink on its own or to use as a mixer. My son drank it all over a few days when he was recently sick and he said it really settled his stomach and it made him feel better. Ginger has some amazing benefits, I remember using it alot during morning sickness many years ago. I would purchase this again in the future.

Ok. I don't drink ginger beer so I got my son to try this sample out for me instead. His comments about this drink were that the drink itself was very sweet and didn't like the fact that it has so much sugar in it. He prefers more of a ginger taste as this wasn't very strong in flavour. He did mention that it does have quite a bit of frizz to it. He did mention that for the price it was very cheap but prefers to pay the extra $$ to get a better tasting ginger beer that he'd enjoy more. It was a bit hard to find, as there wasn't many bottles of this in store but there are many other flavours in this brand that had more bottles available so that in itself may be a sign that this particular flavour isn't as popular as the others?Would I purchase this product again.. ? ... MoreOk. Gingery. This was not a sample. I was walking past and decided to try this after reading the review from @jay_tas. The first sip was quite nice and you got that peppery punch from the ginger. But the second sip I got a bit of a fake taste to the drink compared to my go to ginger beer. I have to admit that I love Bundaberg ginger beer, so the bar was set pretty high. There is nothing wrong with this product and as noted above, it does have that gingery hit in a fizzy drink. Funnily enough, reading the list of ingredients, and no mention of ginger! Overall, its ok. I won't buy again but still nice enough that I do recommend this product.

Tastes good, pity about all the sugar! I wasn't aware of the generic ginger beer, and when I noticed the price of $1. 20 for 1. 25 litres, I noted that it's way cheaper than it's rivals!Upon opening, there were plenty of bubbles, and a lovely gingery aroma. On the second day there were fewer bubbles, almost flat. I usually buy the Bundaberg Diet ginger beer, and I must say that the taste is comparable, but Bundaberg does keep it's bubbles for longer, although it does come in a smaller bottle. It went well as a mixer with bourbon, and was nice and refreshing with ice on its own. The only gripe I have is the amount of sugar, which you get with any soft drink, so personally I wouldn't repurchase unless there is a sugar-free version. Economical soft drink. This is a mild tasting ginger beer with plenty of fizz. I note that one of the ingredients is "natural flavour", whereas my favourite ginger beer lists ginger root as an ingredient and has a stronger ginger flavour. At a price of $1. 20 for 1. 25 L this is an affordable soft drink. It's Australian made from at least 99% Australian ingredients. The bottle is recyclable and I will be claiming the 10c refund at the local Containers for Change point. For those who like a mild ginger beer at a very reasonable price this is a good buy. For myself I will continue to buy my regular branded ginger beer.

Refreshing and spicy. I fully expected this $1. 20 soft drink to have that awful soapy flavour that I associate with cheap ginger beers but I was pleasantly surprised. Dollar for dollar this one would give the better known brands a run for their money. The flavour is a classic ginger beer with that slight nip and spiciness that leads to a warm mouthfeel. It is quite bubbly and definitely refreshing. Like the majority of soft drinks it is rather high in empty kilojoules so it should be consumed as a sometimes or treat food. This ginger beer also contains sulphites which some people have a sensitivity to. Ginger beer has many childhood memories for me so why not serve it as an ice cream spider just for fun?The empty bottle can be returned for a 10c refund. A bonus for ... MoreRefreshing and spicy.
