It's. Just. Salt! Been interested to try this, to see what all the fuss is about. Salt is just a chemical compound-sodium chloride. This product just tastes like salt. That's all there is. It is pink, but doesn't taste any different to ordinary salt. I can't imagine why anyone would buy it instead of plain table salt. I appreciated the opportunity to try it at no expense.

An added touch to my meals now. I would not have purchased this, salt was salt to me, but thought I would try the sample. I was impressed, the fine granules flow steady, the taste is different to normal salt. I like the nice handy pack that looks good and would be a great asset to the BBQ or picnic and looks good on the dinner table for the family. I will buy this again. Thank you Bunch

Salty mineral mouth wash. I put the salt on my scrambled eggs for breakfast this morning. the salt melted in nicely without any grainy or gritty texture. I also used the Himalayan salt for my morning warm water and salt mouth wash - it blended in nicely. I love the fact that it contains more minerals and is lower in sodium than other varieties. Has anyone else tried the Himalayan Salt as a cold/flu preventer?

Healthy alternative to ordinary table salt. There is no discernible taste difference between Himalayan Pink and ordinary table salt, but that is where the difference begins. Himalayan Pink has much less sodium (the bad stuff) than ordinary table salt but also has balancing trace elements that assists your body in processing the salt. I am switching to Himalayan Pink. Thanks to Bunch for giving me an incentive to do my homework about Himalayan Pink.

Salt. What can I say about this salt? It is simply just salt, there is no way you can go wrong with it. Personally I don't have a use for this sample as I get plenty from my mum for free, she has a huge tub full that she got for making bath scrubs and such. I do like Himalayan pink salt as it tends to be on the stronger side so you don't need to add as much to your cooking to get the same flavour.

Think Pink! Cute little pink pack. Perfect for lunchboxes and with all the health benefits of switching to Himalayan Pink Salt. The price point is great and this is a very handy size for all sorts of utilities. Happy to see it also comes in a larger size when picking it up. I have already bought this again and will continue to.

Perfect. This pink salt has a little more fragrance than iodised table salt. Granules are small and fine as advertised. Perfect sized bottle for travelling or picnic. It cost $2. 69 for this 125g bottle but for better value or refill you can pay $2. 99 for the 1kg packet of the same thing!

Perfectly Pink Indeed! Of course I had to purchase this lovely pink product as I simply adore all things pink! I noticed it on the shelf just calling out to me with it's beautiful packaging with the soft baby pink top and vibrant bottom pink. So pretty indeed! As I shook the salt out of the container I think I let out a tiny squeal as I knew it was pink but seeing it was even more exciting and thrilling to actually see with the pink grains amongst the white grains!I used it to make some cheeky homemade crackers which turned out most yummy to add a lovely hint of saltiness to enhance the dish. Sometimes a little sprinkle of pink salt adds that extra tasty factor to your dishes with flavour and all dishes need extra pink too!

Go Aussie When Salting. I liked the pretty pink packaging and the pink granules were novel, but when I did a taste comparison with white salt it tasted the same. So why pink salt? I googled and discovered Himalayan salt is mined and the sustainability and environmental impact of this method is questionable. Also the health benefits of pink salt with its extra minerals is negligible given the amount you would eat daily. If I bought pink salt in the future it would be a brand produced in Australia without mining. Thanks Woolies - I now know heaps more about where my salt comes from.

Great size! I redeemed this a week before having a bbq and had family and friends say they didn't know Woolworths sold fine Himalayan pink salt! The packaging is great, size is perfect and it tastes... just like salt and the benefits of using this compared to table salt is better. I along with family and friends all agree it's convenient having HPS in fine form, having said that I still use the HPS rock salt but for different purposes.
