Light and tasty. I have basically eaten this whole bag of cheese straight from the bag, its not the best cheese out, it is tasty enough, a bit salty but nothing I can't look past. It has a kind of rubber feeling, I am assuming because it is light and also so very processed. This wouldn't stop me buying it again, it has been quite versatile, I've eaten it from the bag, on toasted sandwiches, in my spag bol when I had run out of parmy - It melted in well and was nice enough in the pasta. This bag of cheese is $7. 40, I would buy it again. Its cheaper that the normal tasty cheese and less calories, though it is high salt. I do prefer the blocks but I also don't usually eat a lot of cheese as I am intolerant so I would be content with any that gets me by for the little ... MoreLight and tasty. Convenient for snacks, pasta and baking. We don't normally buy shredded cheese and I was interested to see if I enjoyed the experience when we received this as a Bunch sample. It was out of stock the first few times I tried to pick up, but was easy to find the right shelf in the cheese section. Honestly I was surprised - the cheese was tasty for a low fat cheese, with a nice texture, good melt and the resealable bag is convenient. I normally buy full fat block cheese for baking, and forgot to adjust the recipes I made (including zucchini slice) for the lower fat content. Everything still turned out pretty tasty with a good texture. Ok price, the extra cost on my normal purchasing pattern felt justified with the convenience. Would consider buying again in the future.

Great tasty light cheese! This cheese has been a staple in our house for years. It’s cooks, taste and melts like the full cream version, but is lower fat so it’s a no-brainer. Made with Aussie milk, it’s a bonus. The only reason I haven’t given it 5 stars is the unjustifiable price rise increase on this and all other cheeses over the last 2 months. What used to be $4. 80 has slowly crept up week by week to now $7. 70, soon to no doubt match Coles version at $10 a bag Why? Given that it’s 97% Australian I just can’t understand? Thanks for the sample Woolworths though.

Good but not "Grate". First thing I did was taste straight out the bag. Was a little surprised just how thick and stiff these grated pieces were. Did feel the taste was a little "plasic" Not sure if this was due to the "light" part of this cheese. Well that caused me to check the nutritional panel of this cheese and my current Perfect Pizza cheese from my fridge which is by no means light. Well I was totally amazed to find the light cheese has 352kj per 25g compared to 345kj per 25g of my non light cheese?? Also the saturated fats and sodium levels are higher on the light cheese than my non light from the fridge??. All in all I think I will stay with what I usually use because of the taste but this one is not too bad and does melt quite well as my picture shows. Thank you all for reading and Thank Yoiu @bunch for the opportunity to sample. Have a wonderful night to all.
Lite cheese in convenient pack. We usually buy the shredded tasty cheese ( not lite) in a 700 gram pack for very close to the same price as this lite tasty cheese, 500 gram pack. so this is not as good value. the packaging of this product, like the non lite cheese is great and convenient. We keep the cheese in the freezer for when we make pizza, lasagna etc. No mess grating and because you can sprinkle it on in the frozen state, it is very convenient that way too. the cheese blocks, (non frozen) don’t keep as long, they develop mould after a while with the handling, so the shredded cheese kept in the freezer lasts longer. even though lite cheese would be more healthy, we will probably stick to the non lite version which we usually buy. thank you Woolworths for ... MoreLite cheese in convenient pack. Thought it was a bit expensive. We rarely buy shredded cheese, we prefer to buy blocks and grate it ourselves. I found it quite expensive as it was $7. 50 for the 500g bag. The cheese we buy is usually less than this. I tested this on toast and can't say I could really tell the difference but found it didn't brown as much as full fat cheese. Personally I wouldn't buy it again but I understand that for convenience it is ideal for some people. Easy to seal packet and fully recyclable. 4 star health rating and made from at least 97% Australian ingredientsSuitable for vegetarians, contains non animal rennet. Writing on the packaging for the ingredients list really difficult to read, white on blue doesn't work particularly well in this case.
Delicious cheesy goodness. PackagingClean looking packaging (light blue in colour) with resealable zip at the top. Useful for people like me who aren't able to finish the entire bag in one go. I did not have any issues resealing this pack - unlike other products (none dairy ones) which tried to offer the same but ended up giving me a half broken seal. I have previously re-used the packaging for this product to store frozen fruit pieces in the freezer. Happy with the resealable zip design as it gives me the option to be more environmentally conscious. One point regarding the light blue colour (which I do like) is that since ingredients are written in white, it may be a bit difficult for those with poorer eyesight to read the ingredients. The font size is usually small for ingredients list, so white font on light blue background might be challenging for some. TasteIt melts nicely, even on gradual medium-low heat when I tried to make pita bread 'pizzas' in a pan on the stove. I don't remember how the normal (non-light) version of the tasty cheese tasted. No complaints about this one, and if it's '25% less fat' than the standard Woolworths full fat version, even better. Though I prefer sliced cheese/blue cheese over shredded cheese for my ham and tomato toasties. The reason I normally buy block over shredded cheese is to avoid the anti-clumping/anti-caking agent I think is present in shredded cheese. However shredded cheese is more convenient, so it's a time/laziness factor for me Repurchase$7. 40 for 500g. This will be an occasional purchase I think. I still prefer block cheese, but can't fault shredded cheese for it's convenience.
Convenience is the draw card. Easily located in the refrigerated section with its bright blue package and see through window to see the cheese. This is a light tasty shredded cheese with 25% less fat, and as stated, a mature flavour with a three cheese wedges out of five on the flavour scale. Made in Australia for at least 97% Australian ingredients and a terrific 4. 5 health star rating. Retails at $7. 70 for 500gm, as with all cheese, has increased in price. Can be frozen, as once it’s opened, should be used within seven days if kept in the fridge. The caking agent, cellulose, is used to keep the cheese from clumping together and to prevent mould, both of which I’ve experienced across different brands. I think this is a good cheese for convenience and will still purchase from time to time but I’m definitely trying to convert to the blocks, …. i just know there’ll be times when I can’t be bothered. Thanks bunch for my sample.

Tasty and convenient. In recent times I have taken to buying a block of cheese and grating my own as it was getting a bit expensive to buy it already done. But I was thrilled to have the opportunity to try this one especially being a light version. It is great that the bag is resealable making it easier to keep fresh in the fridge instead of having to find a zip bag to hold it. Also another good point it is Made in Australia from Australian milk. It had a mild tasty cheese flavour and compares to a full fat cheese. It proved quite versatile and being already shredded saved time in cooking. It went went in my cheese, ham and corn muffins as well in a zucchini slice and a pasta and on a pizza. The price is reasonable compared to other brands and I would consider buying it again.
