Delicious and convenient. Woolworths Macadamia pieces come in a 120g bag and have a current shelf price of $5. 00. The bag contains a mixture of smaller sized macadamia pieces that can be used in a variety of ways. Serving suggestions on the packaging include using them in stir frys, salads and a variety of baked goods. I chose to use mine in a biscoff brownie, and I am happy to report that they were absolutely delicious! The macadamia pieces were fresh, creamy and beautifully flavoured. Supporting Aussie growers. Finding this packet was fun. It turns out my local store sells a wide variety of macadamia nuts in various bags, cuts and flavours. I never considered looking for this product in the baking section, but that's where this was. I love popping macadamia nuts in my cereal each morning. The buttery taste adds well to a healthy bowl. This is the first time using nut pieces rather than whole nuts. The packaging size works well for baking or popping into a healthy snack bowl. The packaging itself can be recycled via redcycle in store. The whole bag contains 100% Aussie grown produce, and that's a winner in my books.

Cost efficient - perhaps... These macadamia nuts are tasty, and great for a quick addition to baked goods. I toasted them before adding to biscuit dough; toasting them makes them taste even better, and it was great to not have to chop them as they were appropriately sized pieces already. The quantity is good for baking, but it's not the most cost-effective sized bag when considering the cost per 100g. It would be worth working out whether you could use the larger bags of nuts (that need chopping) for a variety of uses, or if a smaller bag is a better option.

Handy. @$5 per 120g - these nuts are expensive. They work out to be $41. 67kg but the whole macadamias (same WW brand) come in at $41. 92 kg so there's really not much in it. Convenience might win out here thoughLove the blue Woolworths bag with the green tag - I think it's cute. l love being able to see the product so the window really appeals to me and the meal image on the side is always a great idea on what to do with the product. They were soft but crunchy and the fact that they were already chopped was so handy however I didn't think that they had as much flavour as they should have had. We found them quite bland. Really enjoyed these Macadamia pieces. These were very tasty, I ate them straight out of the packet however they are also very versatile eg in your baking, desserts, stir fries, salads and my favourite over my yoghurt, fruit and muesli for breakfast. The packet size (120g) was great and I noticed a bigger packet available on the shelf also (300g) Product of Australia was certainly a bonus for this product. Would certainly buy again WHITE CHOCOLATE MACADAMIA COOKIESDescriptionThese white chocolate macadamia nut cookies are soft-baked style with extra chewy centers. Would certainly buy again WHITE CHOCOLATE MACADAMIA COOKIESDescriptionThese white chocolate macadamia nut cookies are soft-baked style with extra chewy centers. They’re absolutely PACKED with white chocolate morsels and salted macadamia nuts. Chilling the cookie dough is imperative, so set aside at least 2 hours. Ingredients 2 cups + 2 Tablespoons (265g) all-purpose flour (spoon & leveled) 1 teaspoon cornstarch 1 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 teaspoon salt 3/4 cup (1. 5 sticks or 170g) unsalted butter, melted + slightly cooled 3/4 cup (150g) packed light or dark brown sugar 3/4 cup (150g) granulated sugar 1 large egg + 1 egg yolk, at room temperature 1 and 1/2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract 1 heaping cup (210g) white chocolate chips* 1 packet (120g) Woolworths macadamia pieces*Instructions Whisk the flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt together in a large bowl. Set aside. Whisk the melted butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, egg, egg yolk, and vanilla extract together until combined. Pour into dry ingredients and mix everything together with a rubber spatula until completely combined. Fold in the white chocolate chips and macadamia nuts. (You can use a mixer for this step if needed. )Cover and chill the dough in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours and up to 4 days. If chilling for longer than 2 hours, allow to sit at room temperature for at least 20-30 minutes before rolling and baking because the dough will be quite hard. Preheat oven to 177°C. Line baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone baking mats. Set aside. Roll cookie dough into balls, about 1-1. 5 Tablespoons of dough per cookie, and arrange 3 inches apart on the baking sheets. Bake for 12-13 minutes or until lightly browned on the sides. The centers will look soft. Remove from the oven and allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. Cookies stay fresh covered at room temperature for up to 1 week.

Nice flavour & texture when added to a salad. I tried these Woolworths Macadamia Pieces by slightly toasting them in the oven & adding them to a roast pumpkin salad with rocket. They are very nice in a salad & add lots of flavour & texture. They are also nice to snack on their own. A very versatile product. I like that they are a product of Australia & that they have a high health star rating. I would definitely buy & recommend this product to others. Thank You for the opportunity of trying this product.

Not a hit. I was quite excited, as I have grown up with a Macadamia tree. Still love my macadamias. Something about it was just off. Perhaps the idea of the bits. We tried to use them for snacking but found them to be very messy. Resorted to using half for baking which was a better idea and now using the little bit left on smoothies. Expensive for what you get. Pack a little on the small side. Again was difficult to find as display was very messy down Baking/ Nuts aisle. Will probably not buy again, but will buy the whole/ half macadamias. The bits were very bland and pretty-much tasteless. I think almost off/ oxidised too to a certain extent. Perhaps from the processing. The macadamias are generally pretty milky or nutty if toasted and definitely not getting a hint ... MoreNot a hit. Beautiful Australian Macadamias. Absolutely loved these macadamias, they are full of so much flavour. Easily found in the dried fruit and nuts aisle with the WW logo, which is easy to spot. I tasted them as a snack and was very impressed, nice crunch and flavour. I used these in a macadamia pesto with La Molisana egg fettuccine and it was divine. The macadamias processed well and gave a lovely creamy texture to the sauce. I scattered more chopped macadamia pieces with extra grating of parmesan cheese & basil. I'm looking forward to trying these macadamias in other dishes. They'd go very well in a trail mix, salads, stir fries, on top of cereal or just with yogurt and would be wonderful in baking. It's a product I'll continue to purchase. * 3. 5 Health Rating* ... MoreBeautiful Australian Macadamias. Absolutely loved these macadamias, they are full of so much flavour. Great to add to baking. We all love macadamias at our house. This was a great addition to some muffins I made recently. I don't usually buy macadamias for in cooking as they are quite expensive, but when on special I buy them for snacking. A downside to the packet: Some of the pieces were very small and powdery, but in the recipe it was fine. But if you wanted them as a garnish around a decorated cake, there would be many pieces too tiny to use. It was great to get this trial packet and it was the highlight to my Macadamia, white chocolate and raspberry muffins.

Great flavour as a snack or in baking. I started to do a review on just a couple of these pieces of macadamia nuts but found that I couldn’t stop eating them. The pieces are a good size for baking especially in biscuits. A good healthy product these macadamia nuts were a lovely creamy texture. Very hard to stop at a couple of pieces but thought at least they are healthy. I am used to having salted nuts but found that although these didn’t have any salt they certainly weren’t lacking in flavour. Perfect to pop into a small self seal plastic bag and pop into your handbag or pocket for a healthy snack on the go. A small bag weighing in at 120 gram for $5. 00 seemed a little expensive but upon tasting them it is a product that I would purchase again and recommend to others.
