The first taste you get is that hit of capsicum. They have also added a perfect blend of spices. I use a "lot" of spices in my cooking and who ever created the recipe for this salsa really knows they're spices. Coriander, paprika, cumin (love the cumin), jalapeno and garlic. It's all in there, you can taste it and none of them are over powering, just well balanced. Another plus for this salsa is the price. $1. 50 compared to $2. 55 for other brands and a better tasting product. Very happy, thanks !

A Versatile product. Loved this Produce. I like that the spice is not to hot for families. I used it at first in the normal way as a dip on it's own with corn chips. Loved the flavour and could tell that it would also mix well with Sour Cream, served over avocado mash as a dip. You could also mix This Salsa with cooked spiral pasta for a quick snack. 2nd time it was tried as a hot topping on grilled steak accompanied with steamed vegetable plus Cauliflower Augratin using extra sharp grated Parmesan in the White Sauce. The cheese sauce and Chunky Tomato Mild Salsa complimented each other. Family loved it. Next to use it up we had the remaining product heated and spread over sausages and eggs for breakfast. All up as a family we would purchase this product again.

Great flavour. I buy this salsa as it is mild and suits everyone's needs in our house. Some like mild and some like it hot, so I add a few (plus more) drops of tabasco sauce to it once the mild people have used it. It contains no artificial colours or flavours which is good. It is however made in Belgium, but that is fine. It needs to be used with 3 days of opening but I find if you tip the jar upside down in the fridge it will last a bit longer. I have been known to freeze some leftovers and its good to add to soups, mince dishes, curried sausages etc. The jars are recyclable and they are a good quality jar, perfect for keeping and using for homemade tomato relish. Will continue to buy this range of salsas.

Delicious good allrounder pantry product. This was delicious & we also like the spicier version. Has a good range of uses across a range of tastes. we used it to make individual taco cups. These are a dinner, lunch and entertaining favourite that also freeze and reheat well. Ps they are also healthy and high protein, low carb, low fat ... recipe..... wonton wrappers, lean mince beef (your choice) finely chopped onion, grated carrot ( add others if desired) brown off beef & onions in non stick pan. Add veggies pine nuts etc add sauce (2 jars for large batches) and mix well. Line muffin tray with 2 Wonton wrappers add mix topping. While in store I also purchased Woolworths corn chips in original salted and supreme cheese, which were just underneath the salsa on the shelves to make my family nachos for lunch. Tasty and simple. Today I tried the Woolworths Select Mild Salsa and must say I really enjoyed it. Taste was clean and fresh but most of the ingredients were masked by the strong tomato flavour, not that that is completely a bad thing - salsa is supposed to be mainly a tomato based product but I felt that the herbs and spices listed on the jar were lost under the tomato. The quality of the ingredients were lovely with the flavour of the tomato fresh and vibrant. I separated some of the capsicum and onion and it looked to be firm and not at all old looking. I tried the salsa with and without corn chips and found that without the chips there was a better taste of the underlying ingredients.
