Melts well. This sample packet of 250g Australian Mozzarella cheese was priced at $5. 00, I found it easily in the dairy cabinet. The packet has a convenient resealable top which I like. I found this cheese to be very handy to have in the fridge and I used this sample in a pasta bake and chicken parmigiana. it has many uses, I have used this product before on pizzas etc. It melted well and had a good texture and taste and kept fresh until it was all used up. I like that it is made in Australia from at least 95% Australian ingredients, it has a best before date of a few months and the packaging is re- cyclable. I also like that it comes with a 5 health star rating. Only negative for me is it contains cellulose and that is why I usually buy a fresh mozzarella and ... MoreMelts well. I think $5 for 250g is a bit high and I would probably prefer to pay $8 for the 500g packet but better still I would probably choose the 350g ungrated mozzarella which is priced at $5. 50 and does not have the anti caking agent in it. I would still buy this product in the future although not my first choice.

Australian Mozzarella Shredded Cheese. Mozzarella cheese in any format does not last very long in my house. There is always a use for it somewhere. This shredded/grated version (which is the version I buy the least) made it all too easy to help embellish a toastie, a pizza or an oven-baked dish. There are so many uses for mozzarella that just 250 grammes cannot possibly be enough! Yes, this was âsoft and stretchyâ and mild in flavour. Great to see it advertised as Australian mozzarella â although the fear is that we will one day have to use a different name to replace the European one. We might have to run competitions to rename all the European origin cheeses we now make very well in Australia. The resealable (ziplock) feature on the bag is always appreciated. Just don't get a blob of grated mozzarella squooshed between the interlocking sides!Reading that one serve of 25g is half a daily serve of dairy, Iâm liking the idea of just adding this conveniently shredded mozzarella to sandwiches and salads too. I confess, that grating mozzarella is not easy, compared to the harder cheeses; so this conveniently pre-grated version is very friendly for keeping up your dairy quota for the day. It is labelled as Vegetarian at the front so this should help people know that it is made with a non-animal rennet, but I wonder if it would be better to explain this a bit more on the front of pack. A good buy if you only use a little bit of mozzarella. Iâm happy with a larger block and a grater

Convenience Plus Great Product. I find it hard to differentiate between different mozzarella cheeses as they tend to be quite bland and it's what they are paired with that brings out the flavour. So I will always usually opt for the cheapest option and that's definitely true of this sample. Mozzarella cheese is usually not cheap but this was on par with other mozzarella cheeses that were in their original format and generally cheaper than the brand name grated or shredded options. If you use a lot then I'd recommend getting the larger packet to save a bit more money. It was easy to find in the open fridges alongside the other cheeses. The big pluses are that it's Australian cheese, comes in a convenient resealable ziplock bag to save transferring to a container, has no artificial colours or flavours, is made in Australian from at least 95% Australian ingredients and for me, that has a council now recycling soft plastics, the packaging is fully recyclable. I used my sample on our homemade gourmet pizza tonight and it was easy to dispense and gave great coverage. I used plenty to cover two pizzas and there is still lots left in the bag for another meal or I can freeze it for a later date. I often buy baby bocconcini on our pizzas but used this mozzarella tonight and it was so much easier not having to break up the bocconcini or a large single mozzarella cheese ball and it had a similar taste and flavour. I usually buy this product when I need mozzarella so am familiar with it and am very happy with both the taste, flavour, convenience and price. Having it pre-grated saves heaps of time and there's less cleaning up so I can highly recommend this product and will definitely be buying it again.
OK, good price. You have to love a good cheese sample and I was quite happy to receive this one. Itâs quite a small packet size which would suit some families but I would buy the larger pack if I was shopping and regularly do. The red colour is one I associate with mozzarella so thatâs a win there. A resealable pack is noticeable on this pack but the seal fails quickly. The cheese is nicely dispersed and not congealed and clumped in the pack. Great that its Australian cheese. I used this cheese on some pizza which spread and melted easily. I can say that this is a pleasant mozzarella cheese to eat. Extremely mild in flavour, as it should be, and one Iâd prefer to cook with rather than eat in its own. Did you hear about the new craze, salmon with mozzarella? They call it salmonella, bwaaaaaahahahahahahahahahahahaoohohohoho, oh no, that's the best I could do, hope you get a chuckle... First impressions - Mozza cheese for $5, it's not cheap, but it seems reasonable. I guess it's not something you use a lot of unless you're making pizza. Australian origin too, which seems to make everyone happyNext impressions - Ingredients meet the less than 5 rule, but I wasn't sure about a couple of them. Preservative 200 is sorbic acid - a naturally occurring compound (artificially manufactured of course) which is now used to replace nitrites. Anti Caking Agent 460 is microcrystalline cellulose - an indigestible dietary fibre derived from wood. Are they good for you? I don't ... MoreDid you hear about the new craze, salmon with mozzarella? Always In Our Fridge! This is an absolute staple in our fridge. We've been buying this grated mozzy (as it's known in our house) cheese for many years. It's always been great quality at an affordable price compared to the other brand names on the shelf. We typically buy the 500g bag, so this cute little 250g sample looked a little novel in our fridge but it's a good size for small households. The resealable pack is really handy if you don't use the whole packet like we did topping nachos. You can freeze this cheese and it'll thaw in the fridge perfectly, ready for use without any issues or unwanted moisture. Just remember that oxygen is the enemy of any cheese. When storing in the fridge or freezer, try to remove as much air from the bag before resealing and it'll ... MoreAlways In Our Fridge! This is an absolute staple in our fridge. When storing in the fridge or freezer, try to remove as much air from the bag before resealing and it'll help deter mouldy cheese. The taste is very mild. I could do without the anti caking agent that's added to the bag to stop it sticking together, but it's only a minor gripe. The cheese melts beautifully and is always super stringy. A bag never lasts long in our fridge because my husband is part mouse and is constantly stopping by the fridge for a sneaky little handful. We use this cheese to top pasta & pasta bakes, on lasagne, in bÊchamel & cheese sauces, in tacos & burritos, on baked potatoes with sour cream & butter, on toasted sandwiches, in sandwiches and in any recipe that calls for cheese. Best of all - this cheese has a 5 star health rating and is made from 95% Aussie ingredients!! I have very happily bought this product for years and will continue doing so for many years to come.

Packaging return to store for recycling, otherwise bin it. Thank you Bunch for this wonderful opportunity to try this sample, but I will stick to the bigger bag in future. Thank you to all my fellow Bunchee's for taking a look at my review.
Nice and stretchy mozzarella. I have to admit that I usually buy mozzarella in the rounds in shrink wrap packaging so I can use it for dishes that require slices & grate where needed. In saying that, this is good for mixing with other cheeses to sprinkle over dishes cooked or grilled. It's also good adding with another cheese for toasted sandwiches as it gives it that extra layer of melted cheese texture. I find that this cheese has more flavour without heating. Mozzarella by nature is a very mild cheese and this suits most uses where mozzarella is called for. This one is labelled Extra Mild (1 out of 5) and it is very mild in taste and flavour. It's not a product I'd purchase as I prefer the whole ones with more flavour, but it is a very good convenient option for ... MoreNice and stretchy mozzarella. Beautiful. I always use mozzarella- sometimes as the only cheese, sometimes in a blend so Iâm happy to critique this amazing cheese. I love that our Woolworths now keeps it in upright fridges - I do think the doors keep the cheeses at a better and more constant temperature. The snip and zip pack is easily recognisable and is a wonderful development in packaging to exclude air and seal cheeses after opening.
