Crunchy and tasty. I read some positive reviews on these chicken wings and then remembered the recent chat recommending them, so I added them to my shopping list to give them a try. The frozen pack is 1kg for $10 which I think is affordable for something to keep in the freezer for sudden chicken wing emergencies I oven roasted a few wings because I was using the oven for chips as well. The wings came out nice and crunchy, and the meat inside was tender and tasty. The crunchy coating was delicious and enjoyable to eat. There was a bit of fat on the drumette piece but that’s okay as I expect these things. I cooked them turning once in the middle of cooking. The chicken pieces cooked well and would be great served to the family or as party nibbles. The chicken is RSPCA ... MoreCrunchy and tasty. I think for me, the chicken was slightly salty, I noticed this in the drumette piece but I don’t mind this as it’s a preseasoned readymade product. Comparing to KFC, I think these were better because they had a softer crunch to them as the fast food chicken is a harder more solid crunch, so this tastes fresher and has better appeal. I would buy this when I want to have some easily available crunchy chicken wings.

Pleasantly Surprised. These chicken wing nibbles were so good. I am very surprised as I don't usually like this sort of thing. The whole house agreed! Easy to find in the freezer and packet recyclable instore. Mostly Aussie ingredients and RSPCA chicken. There was a huge amount for $10. The pieces are large and the chicken is moist. The coating is delicious with the right amount of spices and not too fatty. With 3 and a half healthy stars this is a tasty substitute for KFC (the very few times I have tried KFC I swear my gall bladder literally cries from the overload of grease). My hubby cooked them up in the air fryer and they were great. He would have liked instructions on the pack for air fryer cooking times. My only concern (and don't read if you are squeamish) ... MorePleasantly Surprised. These chicken wing nibbles were so good. I am very surprised as I don't usually like this sort of thing. My only concern (and don't read if you are squeamish) is that a number (at least 6, I didn't check all of them) of the bones were broken and blood had obviously bled from the broken bone into the tissue/meat around the break (there was discolouration). This suggested to me the bones were broken while the animal was alive. I know this happens occasionally and it may have been a coincidence there were a number in my pack, but it may also be a sign of processing issues. This made me wonder what the process is to receive RSPCA approval for humane meat production. I had a quick look on the RSPCA website and there was loads of interesting info about the standards for the way the chickens are raised and how they are processed. So hopefully just a coincidence. Thanks for a tasty sample and some interesting reading of RSPCA Standards.

Pleasantly surprised. Gifted to my sister and her family, I wasn’t expecting extremely favourable feedback as I know they prefer to buy this sort of product fresh and not frozen. The feedback that came back was very positive. My sister cooked them in the air fryer, they cooked up nice and crunchy whilst staying juicy and tender inside. The crumb coating was very tasty and not too spicy. Served with some chips and a quick salad my sister was very appreciative of the sample for her family. She thought they would be good to have in the freezer when a quick dinner is needed. Thank you bunch, it’s a yes.

Fantastic Southern Fried Chicken ! Woolworths Oven Roasted Southern Style Wing Nibbles are DELICIOUS !I picked these up weeks ago & left them in the freezer as I wasn't sure we'd enjoy them. Last night we had G/S 10 for dinner & he loves chicken so I prepared these. The chicken is moist & tender & the coating is incredibly crunchy & tasty. At $10 for a kilo bag it's good value & they're made from 90% Australian ingredients & RSPCA approved chicken. I would never have considered buying these before but they'll definitely be in our freezer from now on. It's a big call but I think these are possibly better than KFC !
Crunchy and Moist! After reading a Bunchees favourable review awhile back I thought I'd give these a try as the word KFC was mentioned. We don't buy takeaway (apart from local F&C sometimes) but Mrn does love a feed of that famous chicken takeaway when we're away holidaying so I thought why not try this. Well we weren't disappointed at all and will now be buying this instead of other crumbed chicken products. This is the real deal...... I mean real chicken wings and bone included (no tip section), no formed chicken in this product!! A yummy crunchy crumb on the outside and deliciously moist flesh inside. I followed the cooking instructions for the oven and 40minutes later after turning half way through cooking time we had dinner ready. Served with a side of chippies ... MoreCrunchy and Moist! Served with a side of chippies and home made coleslaw this was a most satisfying tasty meal. Priced at $10 for 1kg bag I thought was reasonable for the real deal chook It has 3. 5 health star rating and the bag is recyclable. Good UBD of some 4. 5 months! The chicken is sourced from RSPCA approved Australian farmsAnd it comes with the Woolies guarantee of 100% and refunded if not happy with the product. Yes indeed I do recommend this product
Great for easy “fake away”! I found these easily in the freezer section at Woolworths. To be honest I wasn’t looking forward to trying this crumbed chicken as often frozen foods like this don’t really rate. Well both hubby and I were really surprised at how tasty these wing nibbles were! They are big pieces of wing and very meaty. We enjoyed the flavour of the crumb but did find the crumb a little thick for our liking. There were 10 big pieces in the pack. I cooked in the oven according to the instructions on the pack & they were cooked to perfection. I will keep a pack of these in the freezer for a really easy meal to have with salad. If you enjoy fried chicken I recommend you give these a try. They are also really good value for money.
Winner winner Chicken Dinner indeed! This is by far my families favourite Bunch product we have received! My whole family all enjoyed this product. It was tasty, juicy, tender and the perfect amount of spice on the coating. My husband commented that they were really well coated as in all over and that there was a great amount of meat on each piece not just a small mouthful. I loved that they were crunchy when biting into them but then being hit by this juicy chicken. I have recommended these to 2 family members and friends in 24 hours as well as repurchasing another packet today! Im so happy to see they are 90% Australian made using RSPCA approved Australian chicken.... could not be happier! I will be purchasing these all the time now! At $10 for 1 kg they are economical compared to other products or indeed takeaway options and were super easy to prepare. They made for an easy dinner with coleslaw and alfredo noodle packet. I did notice that the leftover nibbles were suspiciously gone this morning and when questioned I had a teenager admit the lure of them at midnight was just too hard to resist!!!!! Thanks so much Bunch they will be a staple for us from now on!
Impressed. I was really impressed with the flavour, coating and tenderness of the chicken. I think if you are a fan of the fast food restaurants that specialise in this type of chicken, this is a fantastic alternative. The chicken was very tender and juicy with a crunchy coating. Both the chicken and the coating had lots of flavour. I served these with a side salad to make it a slightly healthier meal. The chicken was a touch oily, so probably not the healthiest/low fat meal around. Some of the pieces had more chicken than others and it’s obviously hard to tell with the coating. I had 2 pieces with my salad and one piece had a generous amount of chicken and the other was a bit lacking. I would never have purchased this product, so that’s one of the great things ... MoreImpressed. I was really impressed with the flavour, coating and tenderness of the chicken. Great Fake-away. Sturdy packaging and good labelling made these easy to spot amongst the shelves of crumbed chicken tenders in the freezer. There were 11 pieces in the bag and they were either larger leg pieces with one bone or smaller wings with two bones. In the oven we covered them with foil for the first 20 minutes, then after turning them over they were left uncovered for the second half. We could see some oil begin to pool as they slowly browned towards the end. All pieces were well cooked, the coating was nicely crusty but not dried out and the meat inside very tender and juicy. The herbs that make up 'Southern' aren't specified but faint hints of spices came through that gave it a nice fried chicken taste. We served with corn, baked beans and mash. Good to have a pack of these on standby for when you have a craving for some takeaway or when you need something extra for dinner that everyone will enjoy. Made with Australian RSPCA chicken and not too salty or spicy, they cost $10.
Delicious and Full of Flavour. I was quite pleased to receive a sample of these wing nibbles as this is not something that I have ever bought before. I have to say that these Southern Style Wing Nibbles were really delicious, tender, juicy and had a great crunchy coating. They were well balanced, had just the right amount of salt and they did taste like KFC, which was very surprising. They were cooked at the recommended time in the oven and crisped up well turning once as instructed. I found that there was hardly any oil on the tray and they were cooked to perfection. Highly recommend anyone to give them a try as you will not be disappointed and you could not fault the product in any way. Thanks Bunch for the generous sample and will definitely be buying these because they are really convenient and better than takeaway.
