Disappointing. I bought these the other day. Great packaging and easy to find in the freezer section. $9 for a pack of 30. Good value. What I did find disappointing was that the meat from inside the pies had leaked over the pastry or the pies looked like someone had taken a nibble off the side off a couple. I mean it's obviously a manufacturing issue... disappointing it wasn't picked up when it was being checked for quality. The sausage rolls weren't that nice and my daughter refused to eat them. I liked the flavour of the pies... they were nice (the ones that were not damaged). I don't think I would bother buying this pack again.

Very Good. These little pies and sausage rolls are very tasty. The pies had lots of meat filling, had reasonably crispy pastry and the flavour was quite lovely. The sausage rolls had a subtle flavour, compared to other brands, which I really enjoyed. I will buy these again. Having 30 'pieces' in a packet is very handy and well priced too.

So tasty. Wow. I am seriously impressed with these pies. My kids and i had them for lunch and i don’t think lunch has ever been so quiet. The pastry is nice and flakey and the flavor of everything is really good. My only complaint would be how unhealthy these are. Which i guess is technically a given considering these are party pies. But a serving size of 1 pie and 1 sausage roll isn’t even enough to fill my 2 yr old. But otherwise as far as party pies go. These were great!

Entertainers Delight. So I bought these and put them in the freezer and forgot about them. Until the dreaded day arrived. The germlets aka my dearly loved children passed on there head colds to me. I woke up Saturday morning feeling like death was close. I powered through the morning but by lunch I was drowning in self potty but the children in all there glory where starving so I took these put popped them on a tray Nd into the oven they went. I was impressed how easy they where, still wasn't sure how the fussiest mini people would like them though. They where fantastic. Real meat, gravy not salty or dry like most cheaper brands. I was so impressed I went and stocked up on more. oh yeah kids loved them too.

I found this difficult to consume. The pastry was good - the sausage roll pastry was beautifully flaky and no complaints about the meat pie pastry. But the filling in the sausage roll had a weird herby taste like grey water from washing dishes. It certainly did not taste like beef - it did not look like meat - eventhough the package said "with Aussie beef" at front. I looked at the ingredients and it said "beef (16%)" - leaving me to wonder - what is the other 84% ?? And the ingredients don't mention any form of herbs - so, exactly what part of the animal am I consuming ? The meat filing in the meat pie was OK - this did taste like beef - however, the little portions of meat pie just did no justice at all to the legend of meat pie. When I think 'meat pie' I want generous portions of meat pie with lots of chunky meat and gravy in large pies where the pastry is a star on it's own - not little bits and pieces of one biters where the filling is too hot for that one-mouthful pop. Maybe this is a subjective opinion, but if not for the pastry in general being quite good, this would only get 1 star.

Kids loved them. Mumma doesn't. Pastry on both pies and sausage rolls tasted great, light and flaky. Kids loved the taste and they were consumed quickly. For me, I think the taste was a little off. not sure how to describe it but the pies didn't taste like meat, and the sausage rolls seemed to be all fill without substance. Then I read the packet an found that there is almost no meat in them !!! Wont be buying again, will continue to make my own.

Delicious snack. I had very excited kids and hubby when I bought these home. I don’t buy them all that often, so this was a treat for them. They are easy to find in the freezer department and it’s a good size with 20 party pies and 10 sausages rolls. My kids have been loving these as an afternoon snack but they would be great on the nights we are late home from sport. For us personally I think if there was more sausage rolls than party pies the box would be eaten a lot quicker but in saying that they were eaten quick enough. They are the perfect size for a snack and even when I over cooked one lot of pies (they started to overflow a little) it was still manageable to eat without falling apart!I have bought another lot since (needed to bring a plate for a party and I ... MoreDelicious snack. This was the perfect solution! Thank you bunch!

Excellent pastry, quality pie fillings. 5 stars for the pastry, which was nice and very thin. They heated up perfectly and weren't greasy. The products were unwrapped inside the box, but this didn't have any negative impact on the flavour of the products after we had kept them in our freezer for about a month before trying. For the pies, the bases were strong but not thick and doughy, and the tops were nice and flaky. The filling was a good balance of sauce/gravy to meat. My general preference is for more sauce/gravy rather than biting through chunks of dry meat with less sauce, so these suited me well. Flavour could have been a touch more, but there was no offensive "beefy" flavour that you sometimes get with some brands. Seemed to be good quality meat. Flavour was okay, the filling was a touch dense. Tasted a bit like the stuffing in Woolworths' roast chickens. I found eating them with a small amount of tomato or BBQ sauce made them more enjoyable. Pastry was also a nice, thin puff pastry. I'd be happy just to have a box of the pies, but it's a good assortment for groups of people.

Great price and value - kids didnt notice the difference! My kids are not sandwiches for school lunches kinda kids - so I have to think outside the box each day! These party pies and sausage rolls are perfect for their thermos' for lunches each day. Great value and the perfect size - they defrost fast and heat up quickly as well - oven or air fryer. My kids used to like a more expensive brand - but they were discontinued so I swapped to these and they didnt notice the difference!

Great snack food. Woolworths 30 Party Pack 18 Pies & 12 Sausage Rolls 1. 2kg Is great when you have a lot children over to feed them as the children love the mixed packs of pies and sausage rolls. We buy these often and like to have aon weekends when other family come over or for a birthday party. Just add some tomato sauce or bbq sauce and meal is done. Good price and would recommend to everyone. Cooks well in oven or just heat in microwave in a few minutes.
