Needed a bit of oomph. The wording of “MSG not invited” is a complete mystery to me and I need an explanation as to what that means. The product is edible but who is kidding who here - just about everything is edible to me if someone else cooks it. Sausage rolls and party pies are one of those “naughty but nice” lunch or snack options and a good to have occasionally although not something I tend to think to put on my shopping list. This may sound strange to most people but I had mine with a garden salad and balsamic vinegar and much preferred it that way to on their own. Will re-purchase, albeit infrequently.

Good Party Food. I found these in the freezer section. I cooked in the air-fryer and the pastry came out nice and crisp. I then cut each roll into 3, as per the indentations on the pastry. The taste was quite nice and not overpowering with a sausage taste. perfect dipped in tomato sauce!!These are great for a plate on a party spread. I normally make my own sausage rolls as they are easy and quick to make. If I need something quick, I would consider purchasing as they were only $6. 50 for the pack. Thank you Bunch for giving me the opportunity to try this product

Quite good & cheap enough. Unfortunately missed the offer as I had the wrong expiry date in my head - so actually had paid for them - unawares at the time Although the 2 star health rating is only 2 for these sausage rolls, most other similar branded pastries are also low too. We found them to be tasty enough, not like a bakery shop sausage roll, but good enough. Children would enjoy them and even for those parties for some finger foods. Pasty was crispy but not real flaky. Meat was ok, though just that little more 'taste' of 'something' was needed - tomato sauce is a must though Beef meat percentage was ok @16% when compared to other brands. Most ingredients are from Australia but did notice it contained some Palm Oil - so that is not great - other brands don't ... MoreQuite good & cheap enough. Thanks WW Bunch for the sample - would consider buying again for it's value, but the Palm Oil could be the decider.

Not bad. These were easy to find in store with the other frozen pies etc. These were a very convenient quick meal while my husband recuperates from surgery, I am very happy to have something convenient in the freezer once I have gotten through the nursing care and everything else while he is incapacitated!I used the airfryer to heat these, cooking for 14 minutes on 190. It is a bit odd taking them out of the packet as they are in a stick of 3 rather than separated, but that does make them easy to get in and out of the airfryer then they are easily cut apart once hot. They were served simply with tomato sauce. The pastry is a bit dry, and the meat filling a typically sausage mince type filling, but it is ok. There is a good ratio of pastry to filling. The best part really was the tomato sauce, and without that these would have been bland. Made in Australia from at least 94% Australian ingredients which is great, and the cardboard box is recyclable. This product does unfortunately contain palm oil. At $6. 50 for a box of 24, this is good value if you buy this type of food. It isn't something that we would usually buy, nor will we buy again.
Meat needs more pepper. This was a bunch sample. A bit more pepper/seasoning needed for the meat component as it is bland and tasteless, which however was well packed and not stingy in quantity. The meat was soft enough. The pastry crisped and browned up with the 25-minute cooking in a bench top oven, but I have had nicer flakier pastry for a sausage roll. Each sausage roll was hot enough when served. The ends of the meat were dry which is off putting. A quick and easy product to cook and serve. The salt and saturated fat mean a 2-star rating for this product. I'd like to see both the salt and saturated fat decreased in the product. I hadn't eaten anything else and had only drunk water. Not happy.
Quite nice. The pastry is delicious, light and flaky and the best bit about it. Love a good flaky crisp pastry The cooking instructions were correct. The inside of the pastry doesn’t have a lot of flavour but I didn’t mind that as we were dipping them in tomato sauce anyway. I think they would be very popular with kids as there was no strong overpowering flavour that sometimes bakery sausage rolls have. It’s a quick handy meal when you need and doesn’t take long to heat up. The price is reasonable. I would definitely buy again, the pastry was just that much better than a lot of sausage rolls that I have tried before.
Handy substitute. I honestly don’t have any other sausage rolls to compare these with, other than my own homemade ones, as they aren’t something I would normally buy. They weren’t as tasty as homemade, lacked herbs, onion and pepper. The pastry was flaky, not puff, which is what I use. However having said that, they were certainly edible and enjoyable. They were all devoured by the hungry grandkids after swimming. Handy to have in the freezer, quick and easy to heat up. Good price compared to other brands. I’d recommend them, especially if you’ve got kiddos or teens.
Perfect party size. Great illustrative box. The sausage rolls come in logs the size of the box and there are slight cuts you follow which will divide them into thirds. Oven and microwave cooking are available. Not sure what to expect, I decided to test one log and put it in the microwave for a quick 3min. Came out hot. Typical for microwaving the pastry was soft but not chewy. The meat texture was smooth and just right - neither dry nor soggy. The flavour was about normal, but if it’s too bland you can season them or use lots of dipping sauces. Might have a different texture when cooked in the oven, will have to try that next time. Serving size is one little roll but it’s hard to stop at one. Australian made and priced at $6. 50.
Great weekend lunch snack. These sausage rolls are perfect for a weekend lunch snack. Pop into the air fryer for about 10 minutes and lunch is served. Serve with tomato and BBQ sauce. We also tried the party pies and they both work well together. The meat wasn’t dry, and wasn’t overly flavourful but enjoyable enough for a quick snack. I was able to try these in the Bunch window due to constantly being out of stock. Easy to find in the store in the freezer section when they have stock. price point wasn’t too bad either. Will buy again. Thanks Bunch.
They are what they are. These Party Sausage Rolls are locally made and a good price of $6. 50. There are 8 sticks inside which makes handling them for cooking easier. Afterwards I was thinking whether a brush of yolk might be nice to give that golden touch. Oven (or maybe air fryer) are good for when you’re going to make most of them, if not all, and will get them nice and crispy. But the microwave is convenient for when you just want a quick snack. The pastry wasn’t too thick or doughy. It even flaked a little. The inside part was soft and meaty. Drizzled with some BBQ sauce they were a hit with everyone, and hit the spot. Don’t like having palm oil but otherwise they live up to expectation of a hot party snack
