Pepitas. This a regular buy for me in our household. I use it to add to a muesli mix I make for my daughter and hubby. I also add it to salads. Crunchy, healthy and reasonably priced. Wish it was Australian Pepitas though. Great product. Low in sugar and salt. Great protein source. Thank you WW and Bunch for the lovely sample.

Great for for salad mix. This product is easy to find on the shelf alongside other types of seeds, dried fruit and nuts. It has no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives, but as those pepitas are not grown in Australia I have taken one star off. The price is reasonable although I would be happy to pay more for Aussie grown pepitas. I make a mix for salads using WW pepitas, cranberries and sunflower seeds, and recommend this product to others. Thanks to Woolies and bunch for this sample

Wonderful, versatile seeds. I use pepitas (pumpkin seeds), sesame seeds and sunflower seeds daily in my eating plan. I purchase these seeds regularly. I find them just as good as other brands on the market but have also found that you cannot keep them indefinitely, due to the seeds, upon ageing, turn a pale colour. When the weather is warm I now keep them in the fridge as I do my oily nuts. A wonderful healthy product, being one of my favourites with so many uses. I use them mixed with my natural yoghurt, also useful in baking, sprinkled in green salads along with a few oily pecans etc. Thank you Bunch for the opportunity.

Banana cookies. I been adding these to my quick vegan banana cookies . Ripe bananas, 2 cup oats, 1/4 cup seeds nuts or vegan chic chips or all if you want some date syrup and peanut butter (depending on how many bananas you use ) bake in moderate oven 10 mins. These are very forgiving and adaptable and get easier everytime. These ones actually got some crystallised ginger cause yummy.
Crunchy pepitas. These are great crunchy seeds and I have purchased before. They compare with the more expensive brand at a lower price. Pepitas are a source of fibre and protein so make a great addition to salads or breakfasts. I use them in home made muesli or add to my salad for some crunch. They contain nothing artificial, ingredients are just the natural seeds. They have a 5 star health rating. They are grown in china and packed in Australia. At the moment I am unable to recycle the plastic packaging in my area. Overall a great product with fresh crunchy seeds. I would purchase again.
Love Pepitas - just wish they were Australian. What a shame these come all the way from OS ... because pepitas are an awesome little addition to so many dishes or just to snack on by themselves. I would like to rate these higher because they are flavoursome little seeds but can't due to the origins. Carbon footprint, working and growing conditions are all things considered when we make purchases. Would definitely like to buy homegrown when possible, but that's just mePopped a good amount into an Anzac Biscuit recipe for a nice little twist. Some chewy chocolate cookies will be next as well as a sprinkle over the next salad. They are really yummy though!
Great product. I like the see through window so you can see the product, however I think the packaging design could be revamped to look a bit fresher and modern. This is a staple in our house, we eat them natural, mixed with other fruit and nuts, as a yoghurt and acai topping, and used as a nut free alternative in bliss balls for school lunch boxes. They are a great healthy product that we will continue to purchase.
Great product. I have been buying these Woolworths brand Pepita’s for years! They are a great product, for a great price, a good source of fibre and protein. I use them on/in salads, (check out my carrot and Pepita salad recipe) and when I make my own Trail mix or nut mix. Cheaper than nuts, but with the same health benefits, they are crunchy and a great snack on their own too. I will keep buying them, and thanks for the sample!
Fabulous addition when baking bread. I've been using the Woolworth Pepitas for years, in breadmaking. My usual baked loaf, in a Panasonic SD-YR2550 breadmaker, is a 75:25 wholemeal to white flour mix. Sometimes I'll sub 25 percent of the wholemeal for rye flour. And most often I bake a multigrain: I'll add chia, linseed, sesame seed, quinoa, sunflower seed..... and pepitas! Most of the grains add some flavour - some look like weevils got into the loaf! - but for texture you barely know they are there. For that nice chewy mouthfeel it's the pepitas, no question. The Woolies Pepitas bags are always fresh and tasty and full kernels, no broken bits, and lots of flavour, because unlike all the other grains I add to the bread the Woolies pepitas are the only ones I snack ... MoreFabulous addition when baking bread. Great for salads. Unfortunately sourced from China, would be good if Woolworths could find an Australian source. Easily found on the shelves with other fruit, nut and seeds near the baking goods like flour and bread mixes. The seeds are nice and crunchy with a pleasant flavour. I love adding pepitas to salads especially a warm pumpkin salad, also add to muesli and love them mixed in a trail mix.
