Quality pink Himalayan salt. Easy to use pink Himalayan salt grinder at a great price point. Due to arthritis, I usually struggle with many grinders but had no problem opening nor using this product which is a big bonus for me. Packaging is one that would suit any kitchen. The taste and grind was perfect to really elevate my dishes to a different level than our regular white rock salt. My first use was on a simple fresh tomato sandwich with salt and pepper. The difference that this salt gave was noticeable and would have me returning for just this dish alone. This product only required a small amount to provide a big impact which means saving money. ❤ It has been a great addition to our pantry staples and kitchen. Would definitely get again.

Great Salt - questionable grinder. First up - I love pink or Himalayan salt. Great product to receive because it’s something I would choose over table or white salt. It tastes great! my qualm with this product is the packaging. Yes, this is probably controversial and I wonder if the bunch gods will look down on me for this… but I don’t love it. Yes it’s great for convenience to have a grinder attached, but I can’t seem to unscrew it? If you can unscrew it, you can’t refill it? If it’s made for a single use only - it’s a bit disappointing. with the world questioning single use plastics, and wanting affordable options - you would think having this as an option would work in the consumers and Woolies’ favour. Is Himalayan salt sustainable? No it's not. I didn't think twice about this question until my cousin said that it is mined. I read the label and this product is packed in South Africa with ingredients from Pakistan. And then it gets shipped to Australia!Himalayan salt gets extracted from the Khewra Salt Mine in Pakistan. In other words if we keep mining the product there will be no more Pink Himalayan salt. Great salt but not great that we are mining finite resources when there are good alternatives.

Salt - think pink. The current trend for specialised salt is to present the product in an attractive glass grinder, ready for the table if needed. This Pink Himalayan salt looks appealing although we are told salt is to be used in moderation. Still the flavour comes through beautifully, the difference in using pink granules as opposed to boring white finely ground salt we are all used to, is very obvious. I do look at where products I am purchasing are produced and packaged and if I chose on this basis my pantry would probably be empty.

It’s a Yes from me. Salt is the perfect sample for me to try. I love salt. I used to put it on every dish. I did slow down a bit on my salt use when my twins started eating solids. I have to make Toddler friendly meals now. I actually have the same salt from a different supermarket in my pantry. It was a housewarming gift when we moved. It does last a long time. In general I like the Woolworths Pink Himalayan Salt. It tastes nice. The grind is not very fine. A few bigger bits were coming out. I do prefer it a little bit finer. That’s why I only give 4 out of 5 stars. The price is good. I also like that you can refill the grinder. I used the salt on my homegrown white radish. Yummy

Quality grinder with a good tasting salt. Usually use grinders for dispensing my salt and these tend to vary in consistency for ease of grinding. This Woolworths version is easy to use and provides a quality course grind, so is ideal for using on the table straight onto the prepared meal. I had been hesitant to try the pink salt variety but found the colour of the salt looks pleasant in the clear grinder dispenser and the taste was surprisingly delightful. The one downside for me is that I always buy only iodised salt so would be looking for this to be included before adding to my regular shopping basket.

Pleasing to the palate and eyes - what's not to like? I heard before that Pink Himalayan salt is harvested from the Khewra Salt Mine in Pakistan, minimally processed compared to a lot of other salt options on market - and yet walked past it many times and never tried it. I was down onto the last few grams of rock salt when the Woolworths Pink Himalayan salt grinder came through as as a sample. Perfect timing! Thanks a bunch team. I enjoyed it over salads and simply sprinkled over some smashed potato spuds as they came out of the oven - lovely taste. The grinder is of good quality and the (standard?) see-through nature of the packaging shows off the pink colour very well - adds to my kitchen/pantry decor. Sweet and salty. The packaging was easy to open and the grinder worked well with the chunky salt. I tried the salt on homemade sweet potato fries and it tasted amazing. I think it gave it more of a sweeter after taste. I had to Google what the difference was between normal salt and this one and was surprised to find that himalayan salt has more minerals which makes it slightly better for you. I would happily buy this product again. We use salt alot in our cooking and believe this sweet salt will make a nice addition to our pantry.

My New Salt! Upon attending Woolworths to collect my Himalayan salt, the generous size and price difference compared to other more common brands, was instantly recognisable!Given this was my first time tasting Himalayan salt, I was pleasantly surprised by the taste. It is slightly more subtle to regular salt, although much prettier :)Upon googling the benefits of Himalayan salt in comparison to regular salt, I have decided that this is my new salt! It is just as versatile as regular salt, with much less sodium and other benefits. Easy to open and whilst the grinding was initially stiff, it became smoother as I progressed on. Thanks Woolworths, this is now a staple on my spice rack!

Well priced alternative. My husband does all the cooking and has swapped out our regular salt for this the last few weeks. He’s loving the swap. He adds salt to his meals after cooking (which I don’t) and he really enjoys/prefers the flavour of this compared to regular salt. He has said he’d prefer smaller flakes from the grinder, but is happily continuing to use it.
