Excellent for the price. Woolies must know I love peanut butter as I got the crunchy AND smooth to taste test! So - because I love peanut butter (and have 3 different brands in my cupboard - I decided to do a comparison! Funnily enough I had actually purchased the Woolies smooth peanut butter just weeks ago because it was just $2. 40 (in comparison to $7. 50 for Bega - around $1 per 100gm whereas Woolies is HALF that!) Anyway.. I digress … I actually have 3 different brands in my cupboard - after purchasing 2 on special ⭐️This is what I discovered: Woolies branded crunchy and smooth have pretty much the exact labelling - 612 calories per 100gm (Aldi brand is similar if not a little more at 636 calories) Fix & Fogg comes in at 594 calories. Too sweet and too salty for me. This is the first time I've tried this peanut butter. I usually buy Sanitarium because they have a no added sugar, no added salt peanut butter and I'm a huge fan of this (comes in both smooth and crunchy and is so delicious). It would be so great if Woolworths made a no added salt, no added sugar version of this peanut butter because I'm sure it would be so delicious. Positives: Very smooth and so easy to spread Not greasy at all Very good price at $2. 40 for 500g Easy to find on the shelf with other spreads Negatives An unpleasant combination of sweet and salty. It just didn't agree with my tastebuds. I tried it on a sandwich by itself and didn't like how it was both sweet and salty. It didn't match with jam or honey because the salt ... It didn't match with jam or honey because the salt taste was too strong and i tried it in bunny chow curry but it was much too sweet for this dish in my opinion. Not made in Australia. It would be great if if it was made in Australia, like some other brands however, understandably probably much cheaper to produce overseas in Argentina, as other brands made in Ausralia are almost double the price. Personally, it's not something I would buy again unless there was a no added sugar/salt version. Thanks for the sample Bunch.

Delicious taste, smooth consistency, excellent value for $$$. ** An Ode to PB&Js **We love peanut butter in our household. I was raised on peanut butter and jam sandwiches, and sometimes peanut butter and honey sandwiches when the jam had run out. But honey is the red-headed step child to jam. So don't be like my parents and let the jam run out. I still love my PB&Js and will eat them for lunch when we are low on real/adult food in the pantry, which happens more often than I should admit. I'd eat PB&Js every day if I could, but I don't because all the good things in life need to be moderated lest they hasten your end. We almost always go for smooth peanut butter over crunchy. It's not that we don't like crunchy, we definitely do and it's its own thing. But there's ... It's not that we don't like crunchy, we definitely do and it's its own thing. But there's something about smooth peanut butter being the perfect foil for a good jam, especially one that has chunks of fruit like strawberry or apricot in it. A smooth peanut butter does not call attention to itself, it's the humble sidekick of the jam, there to support the jam and add complexity and weight to the sandwich. In my opinion the perfect PB&J is a weighty thing, with more PB and J than you'd think was necessary, a sandwich with the gravitas to stop a door being blown open in a cyclone. ** The Woolworths Contender **This Woolworths smooth peanut butter is top quality and as smooth as you'd like, and has a good recognisable peanut taste with a hint of sweetness, but thankfully not as sweet as the big names in the PB game. You don't need a sweet PB when your desired application is a PB&J. Incredibly the Woolworths smooth peanut butter is less than half the price of the big names. You can pay half the price for this product which is as good and in my opinion actually better than the big PB players. I'm happy to report that I would choose the Woolworths PB over the other more expensive brands, its quality and taste is on the money, and why pay more for brand inertia especially in these high inflation times. Economical and delicious, many weighty PB&Js await. Highly recommended!

Great peanut butter my kids love! I recently tried Woolworths Smooth Peanut Butter and was really impressed with its taste and consistency. The peanut butter is smooth and creamy, and it spreads easily on bread, crackers, or fruit. The flavor is rich and nutty, and it's not too sweet, which I appreciate. My kids also really enjoyed the taste of this peanut butter. They loved spreading it on toast or dipping their fruit in it, and they asked for it as a snack multiple times. Overall, I highly recommend Woolworths Smooth Peanut Butter to anyone who enjoys the taste of peanut butter. It's a high-quality product that is delicious and versatile, and it's also a healthier choice due to its simple ingredient list. My kids give it their seal of approval as well!
Delicious Smooth Peanut Butter. I must say that the sample of WW Smooth Peanut Butter is just as good to the taste and consistency as the Bega Peanut Butter brand I usually buy. They both have no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives and they both are never oily or dry. WW Smooth Peanut Butter has a 4 health ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ rating and is made with 89% roasted peanuts compared to the 86% that my usual brand has. WW brand is made in Argentina and Bega is made in Australia with less than 10% Australian ingredients. From a price point WW 500g Smooth Peanut Butter costs $2. 40 ($0. 48/100g). Bega Peanut Butter has a 470g jar on special at the moment for $5 (usually $6. 40 - $1. 36/100g). The best before date is in 12 months time although in our household it will be ... I will certainly be making the change over to the WW brand Peanut Butter. Thank you for the opportunity to review your product.
Fantastic Taste and Consistency! Super impressed with Woolworths home brand peanut butter. We had coincidentally only recently bought the crunchy version for my picky but peanut butter-obsessed daughters, as it was the most economical option to buy in tight times, and were grateful to receive the smooth version as a sample. I've tried it so far as part of the paste for a pork satay dish, on toast and the traditional spoonful direct from the jar. Great flavour, but the most impressive aspect is its consistency. Not too oily and not too dry (all the commercial offerings from name brands seem to be one or the other), and particular mention is that it has a consistent make-up throughout the jar - most branded peanut butters I have to keep stirring the contents with a ... Very sugary. I am used to no-added-salt, no-added-sugar peanut butter, and this tastes overwhelmingly of sugar to me. It is 9% sugar by weight, and you can taste it. Apart from the salt and sugar it was pleasant enough with a good smooth texture, but really not to my taste at all. I also found it got very soft very quickly in hot weather, which would be fine if you wanted to use it as a sweet peanut sauce, but not so great for sandwiches. This product is not Australian made and not made from Australian peanuts, and this is also not to my taste. I usually eat peanut butter on toast or in cooking but one taste let me know this was too sweet for that, so I made vegan Buckeyes with it and took them in to work. I will continue to support these excellent, healthy local products and give this sugary imported concoction a miss.
Smooth and delicious. I can't say how impressed I was with this peanut butter. We usually purchase a different big name brand (which is made in Australia from imported ingredients). This peanut butter is made in Argentina, but it's so smooth and delicious we are considering changing brands (if we can get little miss fussy chops to accept the change). Slight lower sugar (1. 8g vs 2. 2) & a LOT less sodium (55mg vs 138). Looks and tastes exactly like my name brand. At $2. 40 for 500g ($0. 48 / 100G) that’s good value, it is however a product of Argentina.
