Watery looking and tasting! Didn't enjoy! Pasta (40%) (Durum Wheat Semolina, Water), Tomato (39%) (Water, Tomato Paste (7%)), Water, Sugar, Thickener (1422), Salt, Natural Flavouring, Acidity Regulator (330)Whilst I have tried worse over the years, I found these to be lacking in taste being bland and way too sweet for me! I also thought the actual pasta was not as good either! Seemed overcooked to me as was more expanded in size than I would expect for this and quite soft!No it isn't terrible by any means but just not something I would ever buy, for the one or 2 times a year I would purchase it!Not something I would often buy but would far prefer paying a bit more and getting a better-quality product!

While he said it was ok and he’d have it again, it wasn’t said with much enthusiasm, and by having it again he meant once every 6+ months. It was a great price and easy to find. It looked a good ratio of pasta to tomato sauce and was a good sized lunch on toast. The verdict on the taste was that it was unfortunately quite bland, which was strange considering the high sodium content. I think the addition of a splash of balsamic or a thinly sliced red chilli would help. And a sprinkling of grated cheese on top. The amount of sauce, sauce consistency and amount of spaghetti was really good and presented well, as they weren't all broken up and a mushy mess. On the toast the garlic taste wasn't as prominent but without a little more tomato flavour it is a bit bland. The price of 65 cents per can is well priced. I served it as part of a hearty breakfast along with some grilled bacon & a toasted wholemeal English muffin. The taste of the spaghetti & sauce were very pleasant but short strands of spaghetti were almost overwhelmed by the copious amount of tomato sauce. Personally one would have made me happy because then they could have made all the IMPORTANT stuff like storage, heating, the ingredient list much larger and easier to read. - The lid was easily opened- First glance: There seemed a good ratio of pasta to sauce. The sauce looked oddly dark but the pasta looked firm and of a good thickness. - Heating was easy and it all held together well during the process. - The sauce had a slight tang to it. I am tempted to say it was too concentrated but perhaps it was the seasonings that made for an intense flavour. Overall: At 65c, I sure got my money's worth. The quality seemed good for that low price but it was disappointing not knowing where in the world all the ingredients came from. I liked the pasta a lot but the sauce was just a bit too strong for me. I would buy this product again occasionally, but would prefer to stick to my usual brand. It is a lot dearer than this Woolworths brand but as I don't eat tinned spaghetti very often, I am happy to pay extra for one that I really like.
